Scam. This thing doesn't work. Now that I know exactly how it turns on and is supposed to work and sort of understand which buttons do what (which was not really an easy task from the Chinglish instructions provided) - when you go back and watch the video associated with the operation of the product (see video at bottom of this Amazon ad)...you'll notice that the lady turns it on as she is walking through her house/apartment....and then, presumably because she already knows where the camera is, she actually just walks over to the security camera and points at it. And....no, the GPS tracking detection doesn't work. The device is supposed to pick that up when the bottom of the light bulb indicator turns green. I've tried on known working devices sitting my kitchen table and it doesn't even pick them up. It only picks up wifi signals...which all are all around you from your router, and anyone else's router that you may be in proximity to. Pretty much a scam. I'm outside my return window now.....and I'm stuck with it. Please do yourself a favor and don't bother wasting your hard earned money on this toy that beeps.

Well, I don’t know what to say—the packaging is great, the instructions are clear, and everything turns on just fine. But does this mean my house is full of enemy surveillance on every step? No matter which color I choose or what mode I set, the thing just beeps in every corner. I have no idea who would be interested in spying on me or if this thing is just picking up Wi-Fi signals. In the end, I still have no clue whether I’m being listened to, watched, or what’s even going on.

I honestly have no idea if this works or not. I live alone on the end/top floor of my apt building and when I moved in, I had a weird feeling I was being watched all the time so I got this detector cause it was affordable and had okay reviews. It goes off when I point it in certain places, the most suspicious being my smoke detectors but I can't be sure about any cameras inside those, I'm afraid to mess with them and I'd need a ladder cause I have vaulted ceilings. It detects the Wi-Fi router and cameras, I pointed out towards obvious objects in my home that have a camera lens and/or use a Wi-Fi signal. It can pick them up pretty easily and through walls (I pointed out on the direction of my router while in the laundry closet and it picked up the signal through the wall), so I'm thinking I could be picking up my neighbors' routers and home security that are below and to the left of me. One word of caution, turn the sound off when you turn it on because it's absolutely obnoxious with the detection beeping! Its pretty discreet after the sound is off, very portable, easy to charge, and pretty durable. It came in a nice little box with an easy to understand user manual and charging cord. Overall it's a fun little thing but I'm unsure if it's really all that useful if you're actually trying to find physical spyware

Useful gadget but the sound of the sensor is too loud. I prefer to use it in mute mode with led lights only.
