The One You’re Looking For!
It’s the perfect adaptation!! Kid-appropriate, yet full of original language, no “dumbing down” of the story or sassy jokes like so many children’s adaptations are full of. The stage directions, resource section and suggested modifications for smaller or larger casts are all so helpful. I searched through many other children’s adaptions of classic plays before this one. You want this one!!

Perfect Resource for Teaching Shakespeare
I think having Jenny Bradley's well-crafted and approachable guide alongside me is truly going to bring so much more joy and creativity into our studies of Shakespeare this semester. I love how she thought of everything when writing this book. She includes suggestions for memory work, explanations for teaching the language of Shakespeare, ideas for budget-friendly costumes, and so much more. I look forward to using this resource for many years to come!

I Finally ENJOYED SHAKESPEARE -I mean~ I Really enjoyed reading the play!~~and I’m old!
Ms Bradley is a teacher with a heart’s desire for young people to learn to comprehend and even enjoy Shakespeare’s writing’s. Her interpretation is clear and it is a flesh approach to A Midsummer Night’s Dream.. She presents ways for a classroom —or even a familyto perform the play allowing for the group to interact closely with one another. What a great way for Shakespeare’s work to be introduced in such a fun and EDUCATIONAL WAY!!I HOPE SHE WILL WRITE MORE PLAYS FOR KIDS ON STAGE. I think Ms Bradley has been uniquely gifted to introduce one of the WORLD’S greatest authors to a whole new generation — and generations to come!! Her approach is fun, insightful, and educational. Thanks for a great KIDS ON STAGE (A Midsummer Night’s Dream!) book. Please write a whole series!!

Such a fun play! Great Resource!
My grandchildren performed this play with their homeschool group. They loved it! It was fun watching them act. I enjoyed watching them in their costumes and hearing them speak in Shakespeare's original language. The scene with the donkey and the fairy queen was hilarious! This is such a great little script and would be a wonderful resource.
