High quality Koenigsegg Jesko, 1/22 scale
This is a high quality 1/22 scale model of the Koenigsegg Jesko. The Jesko and this reproduction of the Jesko look fantastic. The 1/22 scale is uncommon to me, but it is a great size for an 8 year old. The 1/16 is big for his hands to comfortably handle, plus taking up too much space. But this car was just the right size, with alot of details and functions not available in a matchbox. Study solid metal construction. Nice smooth glossy paint and color. Great details. Had some trouble opening the doors, were there directions? I dont know, we don’t need no stinkin directions. Just felt like pulling them open, but felt like too much force would break something. Eventually figured out square cutout on top back of roof was button that opened both doors. Takes a firm push. Lights turn on. Pull back to make car go. This Jesko is a treat for a child or adult.

Another to add to my vast collection and it is die cast metal
Greta looking car in die cast metal and detail is great. It has lights and sound which I had to figure out by pushing on the front of the car. It is also a push back which is kind of cool. The lights are nice and bright and it is activated via switch on the bottom. The door opening is also unique where both doors open at the push of a button. However, you can't just open one door at a time. The engine compartment opens as well and supposedly the frunk. It is almost impossible to open. I did manage to get it open once using a razor blade thin enough to pry it open. Otherwise, you will never get it open.

Looks nice to me!
I am not a collector so take this review for what it is worth. My motivation to order it was for my 8 year old son to play with it as a toy. For that purpose, it has been wonderful. The doors were complicated to figure out until you realize there is a button for them on the roof. The frunk is nearly impossible to open without something very sharp to pry it open. I didn't even tell my son it opened and he doesn't care anyway. I can't comment on quality in comparison to other scaled cars, because I don't really know anything about them, but this one has proven to be durable and looks/feels well made to me. As a toy, I think it is worth the $25.00 they are asking and have nothing bad to say! The lights and sounds are all extra factors for my son and he rarely plays with those anyway.

Delightfully detailed model for children or petrol-heads
I don't consider myself a collector but somehow, I've managed to accumulate more than three dozen of these diecast, pull-back-action vehicles. Some are in 1:36 scale, some in 1:32 scale, and some in 1:24 scale. The 1:24 scale vehicles are usually more detailed and have additional functions, such as sounds and lights. I was surprised that this Koenigsegg Jesko model was listed and boxed as 1:22 scale. I compared it to a model of another Koenigsegg Jesko (a different variation) in my possession and could see no difference in size (see picture). Regardless of this nit-picky possible scale error, I really do like this "toy." It looks great in orange. Many of these vehicles have doors that are difficult to open, but the "button" section on the rear of the roof works great. There's a tiny note (it peels off) on the roof that says, in Chinese, that the doors do not open by pulling on them. The interior is well-detailed, but the horn does not work as described. The front wheels can be turned as though for steering, but I've never been able to figure out how to keep the steering direction in place with any of these vehicles with this feature. Overall, this is a great "toy" for those aged 6 to 80+.

Good level of detail for the price
I was eager to check out this diecast model of the Koenigsegg Jesko, since I liked the real car so much. The detail is really good for the price. The exterior is almost all metal parts, and the different pieces fit together nicely. The only area of issue is how the doors line up with the door cuts. There is a noticeable gap between the doors as a result of the pop open doors mechanism. Not a big deal, but if you want a "perfect" scale model of the Jesko to display, you may need to spend a bit more.

Looks great, nice details
I really like the way this looks. I collect diecast, and I'm glad to add this to my collection. This has some great looking details for a car this price. The interior looks great. All of the doors and the motor cover open and close well with no rattling. The lights and sounds work great. It's pretty quick, and the pullback action works great on my hardwood flooring. It's now found its place on my display shelf. It's amazing the quality of diecast you can get for a decent price nowadays.
