For fuel pump install
I bought this for a fuel pump install. It did the job as intended. The fuel pump only lasted two weeks so I got to use it again.

This is an ideal scraper.
I use this is my EDC pry bar. It is just the right size to work well -- not too big but still a useful tool. The brass does not mar steel, so it is good for weapons and other steel tools.

Mayhew has Lacking Quality Control
Chipped edge fresh from the package (see photo). Figured it was just a bad sample, happens to the best of companies. Requested a replacement and this one has an incredibly sloppy edge (see second photo). At this point it’s clear Mayhew’s quality control is pretty lacking and I'm fed up trying to get a functional scraper edge from the factory. The rest of the tool is more or less fine so just sharpened it myself (see third photo). I suppose for something $9 and made in USA some elbow grease is expected.

Golf club cleaner.
I actually purchased this to clean the grooves of my golf clubs. Because it is brass, it is softer than the face of the club and will scrape out the gunk without carving away metal and changing the groove shape. Perfect “off-label” use.

Small brass railroad spike
The picture wasn't clear until I received. Actually like a small brass railway spike. Thought it was a small brass pry bar. It was a too much hassle to return. It was in good condition.

Using to clean carbon buildup from a compensator on a Staccato XC
This brass tool has been a game changer to clean the compensator on my Staccato XC. This thing destroys carbon buildup and the brass is less likely to damage the steel/finish on the XC. I've used it on several other platforms with great success also.

3/8”
I wish these were made in 1/8” size. Intended to use on a Marlin model 39 when cleaning. Wanted to use brass so it wouldn’t deform a steel screw.

It arrived bent and the tip damaged.
Arrived Damaged but was sort of usable, damaged my aluminum head surface if not careful enough. I used it to help clean the heads off my 1970s Honda Motorcycle during a rebuild
