Visa Virtual eGift Card - $100 (plus $5.95 Purchase Fee)

I bought this card for my cousin who is special needs so that he could get an uber. This card never worked. As of this moment he might still be on the side of the road or have hitchhiked. Either he had the zip code wrong that he entered or this card was refused by Uber. He sent me a photo of the virtual card so even I tried to add it to his Uber account and it would not let me and the only thing I had to trust him for was getting the zip code correct. He is in AZ and I am in TX, uber doesn’t let you call a car for someone out of state, you can only send them a uber gift card which I did. Then they still wanted a regular form of payment attached to the account as well. Which this was the attempt to do that. $140 later and my cousin is still without a ride. My advise is if you have some a little on the spectrum send the card to yourself first so you can enter the registration details. Then give the those details to enter. He sent me the registration link since I was questioning if he had the zip code correct and the link said the information was no longer available. So once entered that’s it.

Do not get this card they will scam you and then u have to jump through hoops to get your money back it’s going on 2 months and I still have no refund $100 down the drain Once u activate your card u have to wait 24-48 hr before you can use it well I waited and as soon as the wait time was up I went to use my gift card and found out I only had about $2 left on it wouldn’t you know someone charged $97 to my gift card how convenient (scam must’ve came from inside bc who would have new virtual card info upon activation) I call to try and get to the bottom of it the operator told me this is normal and they would get this resolved in 7-10 business days well after about a month they are asking for more info as if I would have info on a charge I never made it would be only seen from their end now 2months later they gave me another wait time of 30-90 days The operator in the dispute department today told me I can only stay on the line for one minute because of the high call volume so there u go the scams are coming from with in and it’s not only me red flag hopefully I get my $100 back but please guys do not get a virtual gift card just do cash I’ve never been so blatantly scammed and then treated like this $100 And then I’m fighting to understand the operator because of the language barrier it’s a mess I couldn’t put no stars I only could put one they get NO STARS
