very useful and portable... and reasonably priced
I purchased the 14.3 inch foldable board. I have to admit that I really like the device. I was concerned about some of the other reviews on here. I know they are for different devices but let me address some of the concerns that others have brought up. 1) Visibility of the Lines - Some users say that the lines are too light. I tried this tablet in a room with limited natural light and none of the lights turned on - I could see the lines just fine. I noticed that the lines on this writing tablet are a bit thinner than the Boogie Board that I have on my fridge and the visibility between the two is noticeably different. But after using this writing tablet for a bit, I think I prefer the slightly thinner lines because it allows me to be more detailed in what I write and draw as well as capture more information on the same amount of space. The Boogie Board is for capturing quick notes so the lines can be thicker, but the thinner lines are actually better for planning and note taking. YMMV. 2) Stylus Holder retainability - the stylus holder on the side fits the stylus well. The stylus won't just accidentally slide off easily. In fact, the grip is very good. I accidentally launched a stylus across the room trying to get it off. It's a good thing my dogs weren't around or I'd have to fight them for it. However, the stylus removal and replacement isn't too hard or too easy - it's just right. It's a nice feature. 3) Erasure Function - I initially wanted a button for the erase function, but I've discovered that touching the back of the pen to the erase area works just fine. In fact, I think I prefer how the device does it instead of a button. Moving parts fail so this eliminates a potential failure point from the devices. It erases clean every time. 4) Size - I'm glad I got the 14.3" foldable. There's a large writing area when it's unfolded. However, it's not much bigger than a large Moleskine notebook when it's folded, making this easily portable. I got this to be a portable tablet to capture thoughts on the go so the folded size is important to me. So far, I really like this device. I've already put it to good use taking notes. I take this with me when I'm out and about, and I take pictures of my board if I run out of space and need to erase the board. If I lose or break this then it won't hurt quite as bad as if I had damaged or lost a more expensive computing device (laptop or tablet). I'll provide updates to this review over time to give my impression of the durability of the device. So far, it's a great little device at an extremely reasonable price. I'm happy with this purchase.

Exactly what I've been looking for
I primarily use the notes app in my computer or phone, but I still regularly find myself just needing to write down a quick reference number/phone number (or whatever). Now that most stuff is digital, I no longer have a ready supply of scratch paper, and I don't want to buy/waste new paper. I've been looking for something that isn't wasteful or expensive, and I've tried a few different solutions. This is by far my favorite. I love the size--it fits in any space my phone does, but since it's two sided, I get the same writing space as a Boogie Board Jot, and it allows for finer details than the jot and has a screen lock. I also like it better than the portable white boards I've tried because I don't have to keep cleaner on hand and pushing a button is soooo much faster. It feels sturdier than my jot and held up better in its first week of use (my jot is already showing stress around the edges of the screen). It also looks more professional. I'm so happy with this purchase. Totally worth the price I paid.

The form-factor makes a good thing... great!
𝗦𝗨𝗠𝗠𝗔𝗥𝗬 A simple LCD tablet is made better by a small form-factor and bezel-less design. 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗧𝗘𝗖𝗛𝗡𝗢𝗟𝗢𝗚𝗬 This device uses a simple passive LCD tablet technology that is found in products like the Boogie Board and those countless drawing tablets for kids. Unlike the multi-color of those kiddie tablets, this screen has a single green color. 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗦𝗖𝗥𝗘𝗘𝗡 I was initially skeptical in ordering this because of the negative reviews regarding their difficulty in reading the screen. But I bought one anyway and I'm glad that I did. This isn't a backlit active LCD. It needs a good ambient light to read what is on the screen. It is no worse than those other tablets. The "resolution" (if that's an applicable term here) of the screen seems to be higher than the kiddie tablet I bought off Wish or the "professional" full size version (with folio case) I bought on Temu. I am able to draw finer lines on this than those others. Even when swapping the styli around, this allows for finer details. (see attached photo) 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗦𝗧𝗬𝗟𝗨𝗦 The stylus is a decent size and weight that is well matched to the tablet. It is slightly thicker than the tablet itself, and the magnet is strong enough to keep it attached to the tablet when in a shirt pocket. I would definitely like the magnet to be stronger, but it serves the purpose. 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗘𝗥𝗔𝗦𝗘 𝗕𝗨𝗧𝗧𝗢𝗡 The erase button is on the back of the tablet. At first this seemed to be a bit odd, but after using the tablet for a while I appreciated the design decision. By having the button on the back, it allows the tablet to be bezel-less, and makes it less likely to accidentally press the erase button. 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗙𝗢𝗥𝗠-𝗙𝗔𝗖𝗧𝗢𝗥 This is one of the few tablets that comes in a size this small. Not having a bezel means that there is a surprising amount of space to write and draw. It is nearly identical in size to a smart phone and it fits comfortably in a shirt pocket. Super handy to take out and about. 𝗨𝗦𝗘𝗦 I keep this on my desk with me and jot down numbers or other info for immediate and temporary reference (dimensions when designing graphics, contact email, etc.) When I go out, I tuck it in my shirt pocket for taking quick notes. I sometimes use the free eWriter Jot app to take a screenshot (it produces a negative of the image) for those things that I want to save.

It is small and works as described HOWEVER the most frustrating things is the "clear/erase" button is on the back at the bottom!! When writing on it i constantly clear it by accident as my wrist will rests on the bottom (i don't even push hard but pressure is enough to activate the button on back)
