A Plastic toy lock is probably stronger than this.
It is a total waste of money, I have purchased this lock two times. Both locks and four keys have snapped within a few months. Inferior quality Yale should be embarrassed

Lock is ok, but casing is a bit flimsy, be careful not to over tighten fixing screws or you will bend the outer casing, other than that does the job for a simple lock.

The casing is thin metal so nothing solid, fine to keep out an honest theif.

Rim Lock
Good enough quality for a garden shed or out building where you need the extra security of a lock. Better than padlocks as cannot be cut off, fittings wrenched out etc as it is screwed on inside the door.It is a very basic lock so would not use inside the house and is of a pretty basic design.

mise en place et fonctionnelle , mécanisme en laiton donc inoxydable ( un plus) , seul bémol le trou de la clé idem en haut et bas pourrait faire croire que deux possibilités de sens pour clé existe il n'en est rien .mais ce n'est pas un problème . donc satisfait.
