This mattress was delivered in only a couple of days, it was vacuum packed in a sturdy box , I laid the box flat and opened the end , slid out the vacuum packed and started unwrapping the cling film like tape surrounding the mattress, I could hear the air entering so didn’t use the tool supplied as the mattress inflated itself, ( make sure you have plenty space for it to expand) i left it for about 30 hours before using it for the first time , it recommends between 24 and 72 , this is a solid mattress, nice and thick , and both my wife and I are really enjoying the comfort and sleeping great , I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a great value comfortable mattress

The delivery guys took the box upstairs for me but I think I would have been able to manage as it was compact and well packaged. The box was easy to open and the vacuum packed mattress unfurled slowly but forcefully. No unpleasant lingering plastic smell. I was able to leave it to decompress for 4 days but I actually think it would have been good to go after 24!! The matress was deeper than anticipated and not quite as firm but I was more than happy with how comfortable and supportive it is! My sciatica is more bearable and the usual morning stiffness is much less.The mattress is good quality and looks well made and I was more than happy with the price ( it was on offer) I've been sleeping on it for a week and i am feeling the benefit. I am very happy with my purchase

Took a little time to get used to our new mattress. But after a short time we are enjoying a good nights sleep. The firmness is just right with no roll together and the edge support is very impressive. We bought it on the recommendation from our daughter and are very pleased. Would definitely consider buying again in the future.

I am very impressed with this mattress I suffer from arthritis and sciatica and this mattress is the combination of being firm but not to hard, it very comfortable and I feel well rested instead of wakening up in pain everyday like I did with the simba which is triple the price, excellent value for money, the depth is perfect and the weight is also really good.

This is a great mattress at an affordable price. Very comfortable - firm but with supportive cushioning so it doesn't feel hard. I was a little sceptical given the price but am thoroughly happy with my mattress. Well done Nixnap!

I had been very ill and our old mattress was giving me even more back/shoulder/neck pain. I came out of hospital two days ago having left my husband to set up the mattress. Well the first night was really comfortable, just slight pain in my lower spine .last night I slept even better. It's always a worry getting the right mattress to suit you and your partner. My husband now realises how bad our old mattress had got ! This mattress adjusts to your body, it seems to regulate your temperature so my husband hasn't been tossing and turning when he gets too warm . My husband said it was easy to set up and he just slept in the spare bedroom while the mattress was settling in. So much cheaper than other mattresses but does the same as a more expensive one . The only problem we had was the delivery from DPD, I tracked it online and as most of our Amazon packages go to Carlisle and delivered the next to us in south west Scotland . This mattress went to Carlisle then went south to Birmingham and ended up in Kent ! I had an email apologising for the delay and if I hadn't received by the date I was shown ,to cancel and reorder. Fortunately mattress arrived 24 hours later just as I was going to Edinburgh for my operation. I chose this mattress as I have Rheumatoid arthritis and I need comfort and support in the right places. Pleased to say getting up in the morning is so much easier, even after two nights. I am going to change the mattress in our spare room now. Such a relief to find a mattress online without the hassle of shopping, trying out beds , and waiting for delivery which could be weeks. I desperately needed this mattress and highly recommend it. I gave 5 stars ,it wasn't the company's fault DPD messed-up AGAIN!
