Very Good Multi Form Factor Card Reader
For a few years now, I've been photographing with two Nikon cameras:- A D850 that has an XQD card and an SD card- A Z7ii that has a CFexpress card and an SD cardWhile the XQD & CFexpress cards are exactly the same form factor, the XQD card reader I bought with the D850 simply couldn't read the CFexpress card. So what I've done is connect the Z7ii to my laptop with a USB-C cable. While this worked, the transfer speed is very slow and the Nikon Transfer software is not always reliable. So I bought this combo XQD / CFexpress B / SD card reader. I must confess that I was a bit skeptical, but it has worked perfectly and I love it! The transfer speed of the CFexpress card's data is substantially faster and now I have one card reader that supports everything!

Works well
It seems well made and read my CF-Express A and SD cards just fine. I may purchase another to keep in my bag. I did place some self stick rubber feet on the bottom to keep it from sliding on my desk.

XQD slot can also accept an CFexpress Type B card
For someone with an Nikon D850 camera, this memory card reader is ideal for the memory cards that can be used: SD card, XQD, or a CF express, Type B card enables one to use this later and faster upgrade card in place of the older XQD card as long as the D850 firmware is 1.20 or later

Feels solid and works, but gets uncomfortably hot during use

Works with Lexar XQD.
Works with XQD in Windows with no drivers. For Lexar branded XQD at least. So works as advertised.

great product, excellent value and quality
this product is cheaper than most cfexpress readers, but as others have said is a really nice product. The transfer speed seems faster than I'd expect, which is likely a function of cfexpress tech more than the reader. I'm not needing to test speeds, but I'd say the lag for video transfer is trivial.the build quality is remarkable, it's compact yet a nice chunk of solid aluminum. i appreciate the included cables. I have no idea why anyone would buy anything more expensive!

Assembled incorrectly.
Mine seems to have been assembled upside down. Larger (CF card) on the top, SD card on the bottom. Opposite from the photos. It works, if you flip everything from what the labels are telling you to do!

Works great with Sony CF Express Cards, Canon R5 data and Mac & iPad Pro
I can still recommend the CF card reader after 6 months of use. Good value for the money. It works just fine, is very fast and reliable. The Aluminum housing seems robust. Never had any temperature issues that some mentioned here. I mainly use it for reading out Sony CF Express Cards that I use with my Canon R5. Works great with Mac and iPad Pro. Lightroom for iPad is even recognizing the CF card in this reader as a camera device, that’s convenient. Transferring a huge amount of high resolution pictures or HQ 4K videos is super fast and doesn’t compare to old SD card set ups.
