Let me save you time and money on this so called "dish rag"...
Although I read most reviews, I'm somehow flabbergasted by how terrible these dish rags are and would have given lesser stars if it were an option. Prior to and after washing (and now they're air drying in the garbage can), they are literally hard as bricks. They're defeated and destroyed by ONE wash on delicate setting. As you can see in the pictures, they're completely frayed on ALL FOUR corners which ruins the integrity of the dish cloth itself deeming them unusable. I absolutely do not recommend these dish rags unless you're just looking to waste money and have random strings strewn throughout your washer.

On my third set!
I'm on my third set of these, but only because I wanted pretty clean ones. The others are still perfectly functional and are now relegated to the basement. We use these for our dishes - I like that they only get used for 1-3 days, then go in the washing machine to get clean. Sponges and brushes gross me out, and I hate the waste of paper towels. These are a great size, and are scrubby enough for all our messes. Sometimes I wish them came in darker colors to hide the stains they eventually get. They dry in a few hours. If you have found this review helpful, please give me a positive vote!

Great for dish-washing
I had my old set for over 6 years - they were still serviceable, but so dingy they never looked clean even after bleaching These 2-sided COTTON-scrubber dish cloths seem sturdier than my old ones (of course those were very old!) I use mine to wash dishes, pots and pans as well as to clean the cutting board and kitchen counter tops. I don't have trouble with them getting smelly - but I suspect that has everything to do with the brand of dish washing detergent used as it completely stopped for me when I switched away from my old favorite. They're not right for drying dishes. They washed well - didn't put them in the dryer, so can't comment about shrinkage. Some of the most negative reviews here are actually about the MICROFIBER ones. I like these cotton ones and would most definitely buy them again.

Constructed very poorly this time!
I ordered these same dishcloths several years ago and am still using them, they were excellent quality. The order I just received would not pass for second rated cloths. The border stitching disintegrated and/or unraveled when I washed them before planning to use them. Also, the mesh on the scrub side of the cloth would be usable but the grid pattern is grossly uneven. I could not have been more pleased with my order several years ago, I'm not sure why they chose to send second to fourth rated merchandise this time. I will not order again and would not recommend these cloths unless you are simply wanting to purchase rags. Very disappointed in what should be a great product.

I initiated a return/replacement
Four out of five of these cloths have raveling, undone edges after the initial 'wash before use' wash. That is not acceptable. Sure, I could sew them up, but that is not why I bought new cloths...to FIX them before I USE them. Maybe...if they cost $1 a pack, but these cost considerably more than that ($2 EACH). Besides, if no one returns faulty merchandise, how can the vendor know the product is unsatisfactory?**edit**The shipment was replaced..and came with the same unsewn/poorly sewn edges as the first set. If the mfg. is going to bother with trying to sew the edges (as of course, they should), why not do a decent job of it?If you choose this item, you will need to hand stitch the failed edges if you want them last through a wash or two.

Quality has gone way down hill
I have had some dish cloths from the same Ritz brand for several years with zero issues. Just bought these to replace them, and they are already falling apart along the edges after the first wash (haven't even used them for dish washing yet). Quality seems to have gone way down hill.

Perfection in cotton and mesh
Ever since discovering dishcloths with scrubby backs I'm been on the search for the perfect one. I started out with microcloth but they had stink issues after regular washing. Also, it seemed to be nearly impossible to get stains off of them so I never felt like they looked clean... And isn't that sort of an important part of washing dishes? Then I found some awesome (different brand) cotton ones that promised to resist bacteria and stickiness. Those were great... Until the cotton portion shrunk dramatically and left the scrubber mesh fabric portion about 25% larger than the cotton side. Not terrible for use, but also annoying for appearance and also for trying to fold them when they weren't in use. Enter these! No shrinkage, no issues and I love the colors. I will buy these as long as they're around. They are my holy grail of dishcloths!

Quality sucks.
Bought these for my mother-in-law who can't seem to find dish cloths with mesh on one side anymore. I read the reviews prior to ordering and most of the reviews were decent so I figured the bad reviews were nothing to worry about... boy was I wrong. The quality is very poor; right out of the package, the threads are coming undone and they will most certainly fall apart after a wash or two. The stitching on the edges is a single thread rather than a properly serged hem. I'd be embarrassed to give these to her and have them fall apart so I guess they will be getting returned. Don't waste your money.

Very very poor quality
These are very poorly made. Several have stitching that has already unraveled. One had a chunk or fabric sticking out that looked torn. Awful quality. Do not waste your money. Too bad.

Bad quality
Not absorbent at all. Does not feel like cotton, also the seams around the sides are loose and coming off, only received the dish clothes last night!Would not recommend!

Colorful and very sturdy !
These cleaning cloths are such great value. Well made. The Microfiber cloths, are quite plush out of the dryer. ( cold wash / low heat drying as per instructions on the tags ). They are colorful in the kitchen as dish cloths... but , can be used for so many cleaning projects around the house. I bought two packs of these.. because of the excellent price point. They will not leave lint on windows or mirrors / electronics etc.. Excellent purchase !

These dish cloths are a terrible quality. The serging around the outside is all loose and not locked so the first washing they have all unraveled. Waste of money really even to return...

Ok
Only ones I could find so thankful. Not as thick as the ones Canadian Tire had.
