Top notch bottle opener! I bought this to mount on a beer tote for my boyfriend. He loves the Johnny Catch bottle opener. It's very sleek in appearance, very sturdy, and the magnet is STRONG. It mounts with a super strong adhesive.As the "1 star" reviewer mentioned, the Johnny Catch company WILL email you. They're not asking for anything that Amazon wouldn't ask for, which is just to please review the product. They're not asking for a 5 star review or anything. Adhesive is still going strong, shows no sign of wear with regular weekly use. Magnet has not come loose. Very satisfied with this purchase! I'm actually buying another one today to put on another beer tote.

I bought two because I love the first one so much. I stuck one on the front of a cooler and one on the front of my beer fridge. Opens bottles super well (some bottle openers slip or you have to mash the bottle up into other openers to get them to work), but these are just made so perfect that they pop bottle open on the first try every time. Plus the magnets are so strong that I've never had a cap fall when opening a bottle. The magnet always catches it and can catch about 10 or 12 before it gets too full to catch the next one. Also, the foam tape on the back is so strong that you never have to worry about it pulling off of whatever surface you stick it too. These things are a little pricy but I recommend them to anyone. They are cool and work amazing. That makes them forth the extra buck.

There's nothing bad I can say about this bottle opener. We love it! Sleak looking and cool. Does what it says it will do. We stuck it to the side of our fridge, it's the only thing I allowed on the fridge as I don't like clutter. Works like a charm every time. Getting another one for holiday gift giving.Also, I see a lot of people commenting on the logo. I'm a designer and I actually like it. In a world where logos are plastered all over everything, including high end clothes, I don't see a problem w the logo on the metal. I think it's appropriate, a neat, blocked, stacked San serif font that's etched in. I think it adds to the cool factor. Plus, let's face it, a blank version is generic. How will people know who made the product? They placed it at the bottom where caps would cover it. So I say to ignore the naysayers about the brand represented on the product.

Works like a champ! There are a few things that I noticed about the opener... The strong magnet is not permanently bonded to the stainless steel opener so when I attached it to the back of my Jeep (see pic) the magnet became dislodged. I fixed it by putting a dab of Gorilla Glue on the inside. Also, I added a clear piece of tape to keep the bottle caps from scratching the stainless steel opener. The factory should add a piece of film on the opener, much like the clear film that covers and protects electronic displays during shipment.Anyway, its a great opener and it works really well; Perfect for tailgate parties!

My OG opener came from the campaign on the other website. I love this thing. I bought one for my friend because his wife agreed to retrieve all the bottles if she got to open them! it is simple, catches something like 20 caps before they plinko down to the floor or waste basket I conveniently placed under the Johnny Catch. The tape is above all other tapes I have used. I would almost say it is better than industrial. My garage is almost temp controlled but it stays hanging in temps from high 80's or low 90's all the way down to the 40's and 30's.

I got this for my boyfriend as part of a Christmas present. He was a little skeptical about it's durability. I have to stay he has been super impressed about how strong the adhesive is. He now has taken to seeing how many caps he can get to adhere to the magnet. His record is 12. A great gift for your partner or even for yourself if you open a lot of bottles.

This is the best mounted bottle opener I have ever used. Simple, sleek, stylish, and it works perfectly! I've used the other older style bottle openers before and they aren't as easy to use as this one. I have my opener mounted right on my refrigerator door. I can be carrying a box a pizza, open the fridge door, grab a beer, close the door, pop the cap off the bottle using the Johnny Catch, take a gulp of beer, then put the pizza box down on the counter. A simple one handed operation. This is the bottle opener you have been searching for. Buy it!

We wanted to mount a bottle opener on our outside BBQ counter but knew that would just result in bottle caps all over the deck. This thing fixed that problem and is super fun. Everyone loves it and it works great! I do however agree with those who posted the question about the logo. It is tacky. Please make a version without the logo. No one wants that in an upscale environment.

This opener looks nice without drawing too much attention until you see it in action!The adhesive is very strong. You cannot attach this opener with screws, unless you drill holes in it.The main issue that I was afraid of, was that the opener would fall off after a while. But so far it holds steady as a rock!It also catches the caps very well, but as more people mentioned: 20 is a bit optimistic.It holds up to 5-7 caps easily, after that sometimes it misses a cap, but if you are careful, it will work till 10-12 caps.One more thing that could be improved is the angle under which you open the bottle: you have to hold it rather horizontally to open it, which increases the chance of spilling your drink.Maybe you can fix this yourself, by bending the opener, but I have not tried that yet.If the description and the angle were fixed, it would be a 5 star product!
