Very well made item - has both c and a connections. Fast write speed. I bought it for putting a customers files on - and would certainly buy again for the same purpose. It was easy to use and the dual connections meant it would work on just about anything…. Phone, computer or even TV. I bought the 64GB which was more than enough for this use.

Great drive. It feels solid and robust rather than cheap or flimsy, and having USB-C makes it very convenient with newer devices. Transfer speeds over USB-C are also very fast compared with the older USB drives I have used. Compact, well made and quick — exactly what I wanted from it.

I recently bought a similar Integral drive and I wanted to get a second one of those, but it seemed to be permanently out of stock. This Lexar product was suggested as a similar item by the Amazon algorithm, and it seemed to be very similar in appearance (although quite a bit more pricey) so I buckled and ordered it. Now it’s arrived, I was astonished at how big it is. The Integral one is really very compact and unobtrusive, almost the size of a zip pull, and is easy to carry around on a keyring. In comparison, the Lexar is far bigger and heavier, and I simply wouldn’t be able to fit it into my bag/pocket along with my keys. I’m attaching a couple of side-by-side comparison photos. In terms of functionality, I’ve not had a chance to really use it, but as a decent brand I wouldn’t foresee any issues. ** UPDATE** Now I’ve started to use this, I find that the USB-C connection to my phone is unreliable because I keep my phone in a case and the cutout on the case is in the way. So, I’m likely to use it less with my phone than intended because it means removing the phone from the case to insert the memory stick. Very frustrating!

small! light! good quality! easy to use! having USB C and USB A at the same flash drive is a life saver ! as most of you aware having modern cars they only come with USB type C and older cars comes with usb type A this device helps me to play music on different vehicles with an ease it has big quality drive it plays music at high quality it doesn’t get hot when in use esay to connect to any USB port or PC item as described!

Speedy and the double-ended connectors make it more flexible for sharing stuff between desktop and mobile. Only possible downside would be that one connector is always exposed to dust and dirt, so don't leave it lying around in the bottom of your bag with half-eaten pizza crusts that your dog has been hiding in there.

Arrived used rarely for only 3 months and has failed - attempting to contact seller with no luck so far maybe one seller and product to avoid Have just had reply asked me to try usual formatting and via diskpart - still no joy they are looking into it Research says controller has gone into safe mode due to memory failure I will update when this is or not resolved . Ok change of review - they have responded and sent a new replacement drive within a week So i hope that this one lasts - hence I will change star rating

Compré esta Lexar D40E de 256 GB porque necesitaba una memoria USB‑C pequeña y fiable para mover archivos entre el portátil, el móvil y la tablet, y la verdad es que me ha sorprendido para bien. Es muy compacta, pesa poquísimo y el diseño giratorio metálico da una sensación de calidad que no tienen muchas memorias de este precio. La velocidad es más que suficiente para uso diario: transferencias rápidas, sin cortes y sin calentarse demasiado incluso con archivos grandes. Además, al ser USB‑C, no tengo que estar usando adaptadores ni buscando puertos USB‑A, lo cual es un alivio si usas dispositivos modernos. El acabado en color champán plateado queda elegante y no parece un producto barato. El mecanismo giratorio es firme, no baila, y protege bien el conector cuando la llevas en el bolsillo o en la mochila.
