It’s not Lego. But it snaps together quite well. Unlike Lego, there were a couple of bits missing which was irritating. But overall we managed to make a decent robot. The remote control is via a phone or tablet. There’s no dedicated controller in the box. The coding system is quite easy to use and an 8 year old grasped it quickly. However the robot seemed to stop before completing all the steps. 3 stars because it kept the grandson busy for a couple of days but I suspect you can find better.

An excellent robot! It’s fun to build. The app is intuitive and easy, and offers an enjoyable coding experience. Handling the Robot via the app is also smooth and fun. My 8 years old kid loves it a lot.

After reading other reviews, I was surprised at the quality of this kit. It's as good as - or even better than - the name brand snap together building blocks that I probably can't mention here.My ten year old grandson has made two of the projects so far, completely on his own. His tablet with the app works as the remote control and he's learning the programming aspect.I'm very pleased with getting something that is better than what I expected. Would definitely buy again.
