It's charging the larger vape batteries, normally have 2 going, it's takes about 4 hours ( sometimes longer if the battery/s are really low) . Been very reliable so far. Used extensively in my motorhome on the 12 volt system via the usb sockets , strangely seems to charge faster than the house 240 volts usb sockets...

If you want to adjust the charge cycle or fast charge look elsewhere. I got this to recharge a few LiIon batteries - my previous charger died. So far, on “genuine” 18650 seems to work well. On some low capacity clones it spat them out - I suspected these batteries were toast anyhow. Charges to 4.2 V at 0.5 Amp max - about right but you can’t force it to charge to 3.7v As well as all the naff batteries not- protected and allegedly “protected”, I haven’t seen ANY charger without the odd 1 star review of failure/ overheating etc. Went for Xtar because it’s the brand sold by the best known UK LiIon retailers

The functions this little charger offer are perfect for what I want, it offers many different size battery charging options. Its simple to use just put your battery in and wait. Does feel light but still quality I use it most days to charge different batteries and it's held upto a lot of use so far.

Later edit: this device stopped my house from catching fire!!! Suddenly found one of my batteries with the top partly melted, and that half of the device stopped working. I now realise that it cut off in time to stop even more damage. I am pretty sure if I had used anything but this, especially some dodgy copy, my house would have burned down. I am really happy with this and have now ordered a second one. Great product, been using for a while now for my 18650 batteries for my vape mod, really like that you have a visual on the battery voltage and charge current. Could charge faster, but I do know that 0.5A is better for the batteries and keeps them cooler as well.

I bought this because my Convoy L21B torch came with a Molicel 21700 battery and I didn't realise I needed a separate charger. Pros: - Cheap - Charges Molicel 21700 batteries fine Cons: - VC2 is an old model and only has a micro USB connector which annoying. - Doesn't charge Ni-MH batteries like AA, AAA - The "mAh" display is just a counter showing how much energy has actually been put into the battery this session. The voltage display is the useful part for figuring out how full the battery is (it tops out at 4.2V) In conclusion, this is a good choice if you just want a cheap solution for charging popular Li-Ion batteries. The newer VC2L model of this product has a USB-C connector and charges AA, AAA batteries too so, I would probably have bought that one if I had known, albeit it's a bit more expensive.

Bought this recently and before 1 week it would only work on one slot, kept using it anyway although painfully slow charge rate. Had it charging beside me in the bed and noticed smoke coming from it. Cheap trash and dangerous. Use at your on peril!
