Fantastic resuable bags
I'm suprised these haven't been a thing before buit I'm glad that a brand like OXO make these. At this price point though, they need to be right, and they are. These resuable bags are like any press-seal bag but reusuable. I might normally balk at something like this as being too much effort when compared to the environmentally unfriendly plastic bags but I reckon OXO have nailed it. Let me be clear though they won't totally eliminate my use of plastic bags but these will be constant use and so it will reduce it.The bags are no effort as they are easy to clean - even dishwasher and microwave safe - and easy to open and close. The silicon sides are thick silicon and have an equally sturdy fastener. It all feels bombproof and as though they will last until the end of the universe(I haven't had time to test this).I'm a big fan of these and will easily recommend. This quart bag is a decent size and stands-up completely on it's own - great for liquidy items. My pro tip when dishwashing them is to turn them inside out and make sure you seal (which can be done), otherwise it will just fill with water.

A great robust bag but are there cheaper alternatives?
First up, these bags are excellent quality and are thicker than you think. The seal is great, and the whole thing feels really substantial. Okay, so that's the good part. The thing that struck me first was the price...I mean, for twenty quid, I was left looking at it thinking 'that is a hell of a lot to pay for this one, fairly 'small capacity' bag.In any case, I was keen to put it to the test, so I emptied my punnet of strawberries into it after washing them. Suitably satisfied they were going to last a good amount of time, I left them in the fridge for two days before coming to use them. To my disappointment, one of them was already growing mould, and the next day, I had another casualty. It may have been my fault for washing them first, though, as that may have accelerated the deterioration. I think these bags are best used for leftover foods or meal preps rather than trying to preserve certain foods.I really don't have a problem with this bag and am very happy to have it as part of my food storage, but I do think the premium price may put some buyers off, especially when you can purchase glass containers with airtight lids for much less. 4/5

exciting innovation of traditional freezer bags.
these new silicone storage pouches are one of the most innovative kitchen products i've seen in a long time, i hate using normal ziplock style bags as they're fragile and quite hard to clean.these new bags have a robust and easy to open and seal closure and the material is thick but clear so you can easily see the contents but not have to worry about it being jostled around with other hard oddly shaped frozen goods in your freezer drawers.the closures do absorb the cold a lot so if you have sensitive fingers like me that don't do well with cold things you might want to give them a couple of minutes to warm up before handling too much but it's really a minor matter of personal comfort levels with such things.they're not cheap but if they last as well as i think they will then like most good quality kitchenware they're worth the investment.

High quality silicone food bag
This food bag is a good size for sandwiches, 1-2 portions of leftovers or larger quantities of sauces. Freezer, microwave & dishwasher safe. The deep press-seal functions really well and achieves an airtight closure. The bag is clear on one side, with the rest being semi-opaque, for this reason, I probably wouldn't use it as a liquids bag for air travel (as is implied in the listing), as I'm not sure if all airport security would be satisfied with it not being fully clear throughout. It would otherwise have been really good for this purpose, as it's thick, resilient and watertight. The bag turns inside out easily for cleaning. Not cheap, but really good quality and will last years.

cannot stack but does stand.
On first impressions, it felt very well made, good quality, and up to the brand’s standards. The pouch is made from thick silicone, and the seal firmly closes.Of course, it’s not as watertight as a traditional tub, but this is better than other cheaper bag options. The size of the pouch is great and just right for my leftovers. It's suitable for using for freezing, but there is no space for writing dates, so you'd need to stick a label onto it.Seems easy to clean too.The only downside is that you can't stack these bags, but you can at least have them standing in the fridge.

Solid and flexible
You can always trust the quality of OXO. I was shocked at the price when I grabbed it from Amazon Vine but was amazed at how excellent the product was in terms of quality and functionality. It is made from highly quality silicone and feels very solid. Sealing and opening the bag is just so smooth and effortless. One side is clear and the other side is opaque. It easily stand up like a solid container but takes much less space and feels more flexible. Food will not be easily squashed. To make it easier to use, it is even microwave and dishwasher safe.Nothing to complain but the price. But you get what you pay for.

Sturdy, but expensive
These thick and sturdy bags have a solid and simple closure which is super easy to use, and gives a reliable watertight seal. You can fit a lot into these, and I think it's going to be very useful for a long time due to its robustness. The only complaint is the price, which is pretty expensive compared to using "single use" zip lock bags, but it is certainly a good product.
