I have used other oribe shampoos but recently started the oil control since my hair is more oily. Love the fact that it is good for semipermanent and permanent colored hair. I am able to go at least 3 days without having to wash my hair. It lives up to its name of being for oily hair.

Very pleased with this shampoo. It is a little in the expensive side, but definitely one of the better oil control shampoos I’ve used. My daughter likes it better than Leonor Greyl Bain Ts as it’s not as drying and leaves hair softer. I personally prefer Leonor Greyl a bit better, but I think both are great. It is about equal to Oribe Serene Scalp Balancing Shampoo, maybe a little more detoxing (and less so for dandruff) but similar softening effect. This is definitely better than Shiseido Fuente Forte Purifying, Klorane Oil Control (made my scalp break out and itch horribly), Neutrogena Scalp Therapy, Aesop Equalizing Shampoo, Rahua Volumizing Shampoo, and the countless others I’ve tried.

The Oribe Serene Scalp Oil Control Shampoo and Conditioner are game-changers! They leave my scalp feeling clean and refreshed without over-drying, and my hair stays oil-free for much longer. The scent is luxurious, and my hair feels soft, light, and healthy. Worth every penny!

In the photo, I just wanted to compare the size and price. The Oribe Oil Control Shampoo (8.5 oz) is around $50, while the Biolage Conditioner (33.8 oz) is about $30. That’s nearly 4x the product for $20 less. That said, I absolutely love the shampoo. I’ve always struggled with an oily scalp, flakes, and dry ends, but this has been a game changer. It gives me volume, keeps my scalp balanced, and I only need to wash my hair once a week. I pair it with the Biolage conditioner, and together they’ve worked great for me. Is the Oribe worth the money? For me, yes. If you struggle with oil and flakiness and haven’t found anything that works, this shampoo has been amazing.

Authentic product ! Works great for sticky summer heat / spring heat in Texas . My hair felt so soft and clean my scalp wasn't itchy and it smells so good.

I have fine, thin hair and have to wash it daily because it gets greasy so fast. We all know how bad that is for hair, and I've been searching for a quality shampoo that won't fade my color. The next day after using it, I noticed a big difference! I use the spray after each shampoo and the powder on non shampoo days. My hair never looks greasy on non shampoo days, and I am so happy!! Also, goodbye to dry shampoo!

I bought this product at the rec of a hairdresser in August 2023 and was very disappointed in the results. My hair looks greasy once it's dry after washing with this product and especially when paired with the leave in spray product. I tried to use it for several months to give my hair a chance to get used to it but I've had the same results each time I use it. This product was absolutely not worth the exorbitant price. 0/10

I didnt read the description and realize this is a TINY bottle for the price you pay. It hasnt made any difference in my hair unfortunately and I used the entire thing in one month because my hair is thick and long and the product doesnt work in very well.

Love this shampoo! A little goes a long way and smells fantastic! Wish it wasn’t so expensive though.

I started to see improvement from the 4th time First two washes not really but now after the 4th time I can see the difference. Good buy if you have oily hair and you have to take a shower everyday. For the first time I can skip one day to wash my hair

I’m not so sure it’s done a lot to reduce oily scalp and hair but it does have a light and refreshing scent. You don’t need to use a lot to wash the hair. I don’t know if I would buy again though as I’m not seeing major results and it’s quite pricey.

Smells nice, doesn't irritate my sensitive skin. However, didn't do the promised job. I still have to wash my hair every second day. Also, the bottle is WAYYYYY smaller, than it seemed to be. Just well, didn't worth the price.
