I purchased this fan due to the super low price from Sofucor's Amazon Store. Frankly my expectations were low and thought I would just doubted them based on price thinking it was too good to be true. Sofucor made me a "fan" of their company (excuse the pun), because they delivered on everything! Here's what won me over. 1. They're right its easy to install. I installed the fan in less than 15 minutes after removing the old ceiling fan. Everything you need is the box except the screw drivers. 2. The instructions had QR codes to easy to follow videos for installation. 3. The old fan I replaced was a Hampton Bay Fan that came with the house used 3X times more power than the Sofcur's. 4. Sofucor's remote is a little different to get used to but at least it works! The Hampton Bay remote didn't work. It require me to run downstairs turn off the breaker and by the time I returned to the fan with the remote the internal timer won't allow me to program it. Sofucor's worked out to the box! 5. Sofucor's fan is quiet. - really quiet. 6. Sufcor's fan moves the air better than most I seen or used. 7. The fan looks GREAT. The wood is real, although a light weight wood it's attractive. The previous one from Hampton Bay had blade made of press board. Suggest Areas for Improvement. 1. Please pay a native English speaker to adjust the wording in the user manual. There are many errors which include spelling, dropped phrases, and grammar issues. I am not one to critically analyze anyone's English skills because my own are so poor. I believe correcting some of the issues in your installation manual would show off your products quality better. 2. Page 8 of the Use and Care Guide for the KBS-52245 showed a medal hanger hook on the the hanger plate. Specifically in photo 13 there is wire to temporarily hang the motor while wiring. That wire wasn't on the unit I ordered. 3. On page 7 there is a picture of a wire to connect the LED's to the cable. The unit I received didn't have th cable extending for the LED plate. The connect was on the edge of the LED plate. The figure on page 7 photo #7 should be corrected. In summary, I love the fan and now am a FAN of Sofucor's ceiling fans. I will be buying a few more. UPDATED: I have since purchased 3 of them myself, and I have installed 3 more for family members who purchased them. Everyone is very satisfied with them and they love the way the fans look.

I bought this fan as it looks really nice. There are other vendors selling what looks like the same product, so it is not unique to this vendor. It is very lightweight and easy to lift into place. The instructions are easy to follow. The visible finish is excellent. The fan blades are made of wood and beautiful. So what's wrong? As with most of these cheap products from China, the design created problems. First, the fan mounted on its hanging bracket crooked, so it was at an angle hanging off the ceiling despite the ceiling mount being level. After a lot of fiddling, I got it to not look too bad, but it is still not perpendicular. Next, the light housing that mounts under the fan blades mounted crooked, so the blades actually scraped against it on one side. See video to hear the scraping noise. No amount of adjustment solved this problem. To fix it, I had to remove the light housing, find a couple of thick plastic washers to act as standoffs to lower the light housing away from the blades. Then I had to find new longer screws with the same threads and head (which has to fit into the housing hole) to be able to attach the housing. After a ton of sweat and frustration, I got the housing attached without the scraping. Buyer beware: it is a good price for a fan as beautiful, elegant and well made as this one. HOWEVER, the design is not perfect and you will pay in terms of frustration and fixing.

The fan looks nice and moves air well. The reason for three stars is the light color that comes on as default has a very high pitched noise so I have to use one of the other colors. And if you have the fan connected to a light switch, if you turn the light switch off and then back on, you will always have to cycle through the light colors to get it on the color you want. So a little bit of a hassle in daily use.

~6" at mounting base. 7.5" at light base. Very nice, very quite, moves air!! Looks great. If you're expecting 200 watt spot, no. 100 watt incandescent yes. Diffuse light not glaring. Nice candlelight, incandescent & the blue hued harsher light. We're in Yuma AZ. August is wicked hot! Average108°F days & 95°F nights. When sitting around, with A/C on around 78°F this fan on #1/low is sometimes too much cooling, lol! And I'm a 60yr old women if you get me ladies lol! The #6/high is bad a**! One in my BR too. I like to sleep with a cover & have 2 hot potato chihuahuas that sleep w/me. So, I put it on #6! I love it! Highly recommend! Have had several months w/great performance!
