Frontline stopped working and we started getting bites ourselves, it was that bad. Switched to this. It's been 12 months now and no infestation. The house was sprayed along side this collar. Cats happy to wear it. Peace of mind with the breakaway feature should a cat find themselves stuck with it. Had no issues with bad weather and a outdoor cat. It worked for 8 months and was replaced. Great value compared to monthly applications.

Found something that actually works and lasts. Yes expensive but it works amazingly well. With in days the fleas were visibly dieing and falling out as I brushed the cat. And she was clear within two weeks and all year. I highly recommend you buy this if you're having issues getting your cat flea free.

This is the third collar I have bought for my cat, the others have been brilliant but just wanted to warn pet owners to keep an eye on their pets. Put the collar on my cat on Saturday afternoon. She was fine Sunday morning and assumed she was in the garden Sunday night. Monday morning she was barely conscious, didnt react to us at all and just lay on the windowsill. Took her to the vets who gave pain relief and said wait 24 hrs then they would do blood tests. A relative asked about the flea collar and after q quick Google we decided to remove it. 12 hrs later she was much better. Still not 100% after 5 days, loss of appetite, diarrhoea and dehydrated but she is getting there. Its a great collar but please keep an eye on your pet, even if they have had the collar before.

I waited for a couple of days before writing this review, to make sure it's accurate, but I can now with the full confidence say, that this is the first collar of many we had, that actually works. My cat is allergic to flea bites, and even one picked up outside, can cause serious problems for him. We had a different brands in the past, and even combined with the spot on treatments, they hardly made any difference. We're on day 3 today, and he's now visibly happier. The scratching is gone, crazy grooming stopped, and he's much more chilled. I'm not the biggest fan of the price, but considering I was spending almost the same amount on spot on that works only 3 months, it's absolutely worth it.

These only work if you pay a fortune for them

So I've left my original review below because there is no doubt this product kills fleas. However, one week in and my cat has had a bad reaction to it. He's ok in himself but under the collar he has lost his fur and his skin is red raw. So sadly I have had to remove the product. I've read that this isn't uncommon so I guess it varies from cat to cat. My friend has these collars and her pets haven't had any reaction. My boy is clearly a sensitive soul but it's something you'll definitely need to keep an eye on if you choose to purchase. "Oh my daze. I don't usually leave reviews but this product is superb. It's only day two but my boy is sleeping peacefully again. No excessive licking, no red raw skin. He's a rescue cat and my rented accommodation has lots of carpets so things were starting to get a little frustrating. But the fleas are just drunk. They fall off, they can't hop, they're easy to maintain and there is so much satisfaction in getting shot of the little, um, shots. It's important to remember that there's more to getting rid of fleas than just this treatment, only 5% of fleas stay on the host, so you'll still have to clean, spray, hoover etc. However, Now my cat is a flea killing machine so I can't recommend this product enough right now. Like I say, it's day two. But so far so good."
