Why did I buy this product? Because I make international flights on a regular basis. For travel, noise canceling headphones are a must-have, but most are now bluetooth. Unfortunately, most cattle class seats have infotainment systems that only provide mini-jack outputs. Enter this device as the perfect solution! At least in my opinion.This device allows me to plug-in to the output jack on an aircraft without the inconvenience of wires. It has several domestic uses, specifically provided a bluetooth interface to older audio equipment, PC's that don't have bluetooth, and (some) tablets.Does it work? Yes, no reservations. Fully charged, the battery was only 50% drained at the end of a 10 hour flight to London from Phoenix, AZ. I used this device in conjunction with my iPad mini, the aircraft infotainment system and even my PC at home. Binding was fast and effortless. Recommend you read the instructions because although binding and unbinding is easy (and works) the unit itself has a minimum of controls and you need to know what you're doing!I really can't speak to quality or range, but at least up to around ten to fifteen feet it was working fine, and sound quality was excellent without drop-out or interference.Can I listen to music while the unit is attached to a charger? Yes you can. This was a worry for me, especially since I forgot to recharge before the return trip. So I attached to a USB-C power bank and absolutely no problem, throughout charging, the unit worked fine. BTW, many airlines seem to be banning the use of power banks on or onto their aircraft - just another nuisance to check on before you fly!Do I know how much power is left? Yes, there are 4 white LED's which tell you how much charge you've got on the device. The top-most illuminated LED flashes until the next level is reached or the unit is fully charged.Finally, can two people listen to the same audio? Yes, my wife and I watched a video on the plane, with both of us wearing Bose NC headphones in bluetooth mode. The unit provides two, simultaneous links so for me that was the final box ticked.Some widgets are hard to use, but this one is well thought out and easy.

Worked well, connected easily to my headphones and a second pair of ear pods so my wife and I could both listen to a movie on a flight. The battery life seems as advertised. I was a good value for the cost and the sound was very clear.

Worked a charm! Glad I read reviews and chose this money saving option vs the highly marketed "name brand" version. I had no issues pairing these with the Shokz Open Fit Pro's. I did not have to unpair the ear buds from my phone. I used these on a 14+ hour flight with zero issues. On the way home, I used them for 20 total hours of flight time on 1 charge. No lag, no audio issues. Would buy again. The range was pretty good. A couple of times, I headed to the restroom and forgot to pause my movie. I got in that little plane cube and was startled to realize I was still listening to the audio from my seat screen. So, good range with no interference. Was honestly surprised how many people are still using the free and terrible plane earbuds.

Bought this to interconnect airline entertainment with my (Phonak) hearing aids. After easy setup it worked great.I attempted to check/upgrade the firmware just for grins. Unable to connect with the downloaded upgrade app on my desktop, I contacted their helpdesk, and it was stated that I would get an email the following day. I did, and with their email the next morning, it was suggested that I use a data cable rather than the provided charging cable to connect with my computer. I did, and did an upgrade quickly and with no issues.I had hesitated to even check on the firmware, as the device worked fine right out of the box. It was not a big thing, even though the device did not have up to date firmware. Easy peasy!

The product works for me, but for some reason, it will only transmit to one AirPod and not both simultaneously. I try to wiggle it around, but I never get the sound quality to be good enough. It works ok, but I may turn to something else in later flights.

This little adapter is a very good deal. I’ve been having difficulty connecting some of my older headphones and earphones (with older Bluetooth technology) directly to some of the newer CD players, Bluetooth equipment and speakers. And, once connected I would loose the connections when I walk a short distance away. This little adapter connected right away. It did the trick …and It found my old headphones on the first try! The sound in my headphones is rich, clear and as loud as I wanted … without any static or white noise. It has a long battery life AND you can connect two headsets. Plus, this adapter keeps the connections for longer distances than when I tried to do the direct equipment to headphone connections. I will be able to use my older headphone and earphones! This adapter is made for airplane and travel, but I will be using it for my home and yard work. I bought two by mistake and I am keeping both! This adapter is a good price and is worth every cent paid! The price is a fraction of the cost of new headphones.

Bought it for a recent long airplane ride from Dubai to Canada. Was Flying on ITA Airways. Didn't need to use because ITA allows direct bluetooth connection, but I tested it on my laptop and it worked as stated.Only problem is trying to remember the directions to connect/pair since I don't use it very often.

Ich habe mir den Adapter primär für die Nutzung auf Langstreckenflügen zugelegt.Mein Fazit nach 2 Mittel- (> 3 Std.) und 3 Langstreckenflügen (> 8 Std.): Top!Für mich ist es ein Gamechanger, endlich meine Bluetooth-Kopfhörer (JBL Live Pro 2) mit dem Bordentertainment verbinden zu können - um einerseits Filme in besserer Tonqualität genießen zu können, aber auch eventuelle Störgeräusche ausblenden zu können.Folgende Kriterien waren entscheidend dafür, dass ich mich für den Avantree Relay entschieden habe:- lange Akkulaufzeit: wird mit ca. 20 Stunden angegeben. Kombi aus Mittel- und Langstrecke mit in der Summe je 14-18 Stunden hat das Gerät anstandslos mitgemacht!- schnelles Wiederaufladen: wird mit ca. 20 Minuten angegeben. Ich habe keine Stoppuhr gestellt, aber es geht wirklich verdammt schnell, bis das Gerät wieder einsatzberei ist, nachdem der Akku leer war.- Low Latency-Unterstützung: Ich war im Vorfeld etwas skeptisch, da ich immer wieder von Verzögerungen bei der Ton- im Vergleich zur Bildübertragung gelesen habe. Um diese zu vermeiden, müssen sowohl Bluetooth-Adapter als auch Kopfhörer diese Funktion unterstützen. Bei mir hat das mit dem Avantree in der Kombi mit dem JBL Live Pro absolut einwandfrei funktioniert!- Design und Funktionen: ich empfinde es als praktisch, dass man auch am Adapter eine Möglichkeit zur Lautstärkeregulierung hat. Allgemein ist der Adapter nicht nur klein und leicht, sondern wirkt auch wertig verarbeitet und ist intuitiv bedienbar. In blau passt er sogar farblich zu meinen Kopfhörern! Das war zwar kein Kriterium, ist aber trotzdem nett ;-)Der Artikel war gut verpackt und der Lieferumfang umfasst neben dem Adapter selbst auch noch ein Ladekabel und einen Dual-Aux-Adapter, dazu noch ein kleines Täschchen, in dem sich alles für die Reise perfekt verstauen lässt.Von mir eine klare Kaufempfehlung - ich bin wirklich sehr zufrieden.
