This model CMSXJ65A camera (see photo) offers 2,880 x 1,620 maximum resolution and is mains powered so requires access to a 110V 2-prong electrical outlet. I already had a light socket in place, and simply screwed in an E26 bulb outlet adaptor (all standard A19 bulbs will have an E26 base) to provide the needed adaptation. Self video storage requires a MicroSD card (up to 256gb). An optional 24/7 recording feature can be set such that the camera continuously records to this card... or to merely record detected events. With power off, remove the flexible cover labelled ‘Reset’ and insert the Micro SD card until it clicks into place. A subscription to a cloud-based video storage and features Service is not required, but the option is available. App; Do not bother to download the ‘old’ MiHome app displaying a blue-cloud-logo since it’s impossible to create an account with that older app. Instead download the ‘Xaiomi’ App and, when installed, it will display a ‘Mi Home’ thumbnail with green logo, permitting you to create an account using a valid email. Note that at one point in the creation process, a difficult-to-read alphanumeric ‘human-verification’ code is displayed and must be typed-in before proceeding to a screen where a numeric verification code is sent to your email address. Follow the detailed instructions in the video within the listing, and voice prompts from the camera, to connect to your 2.4GHz WiFi network (5 GHz not supported). This camera can also be paired with Amazon Alexa and Google assistant. I managed to install the App on a older IOS 12.5.7 device, a newer IOS 15.8, and a Fire HD 8 Tablet running Fire OS 7.3. I can access camera using the ‘Mi Home’ App, and remain signed-in, on all three devices. The App has plenty of excellent features and settings. I especially like that I can access a live full-screen landscape image from the camera, and interact with it.

This is a great camera. This is really easy to put up and connect. The app is really easy to use. I like that this camera gives a clear look that enables me to see everything clearly. This allows me to feel safer and I am able to look at video if I want to see what is going on. I also like that it has 360 degree view. I recommend this camera To everyone looking for a great security camera at a great price.

This is good quality system, reliable camera, clear picture quality and clear video quality. The sound quality is good and works well, this is a 10/10 product.

This product arrived the next day via Amazon Prime and was packaged in a simple cardboard retail box. I ordered these a while ago and almost forgot about them until I came by them a few weeks ago. it has been quite cold the past few days in Montreal and let me just say that I was thrilled to have these. Surprisingly, they were still charge out of the box (I had full charged them when I received them back before the holidays) as indicated by the three lights. Easy to operate and they heat up rather quick. these would be perfect with mittens however I only have gloves but still nonetheless preferred to clamp my fingers around this contraption within my pockets. These work surprisingly well and I have worn them for three days straight for about an hour and a half each day without needing to recharge them yet. The asking price of $26 CAD is reasonable, a little high but then again I feel most things are overpriced these days, although I would not hesitate to pick these up again at full price. I think most people would be quite pleased with the performance, even if only used on the coldest days of the year. Recommended!

We could not get our first camera to work. However, the customer service for this product is absolutely amazing! They sent us out a new one immediately, then gave us complete tech-support until we were able to hook it up properly. The picture is crystal. Clear motion detection is amazing. Connectivity was easy! Great company would buy from again for sure
