Just MIGHT be something that your WW2 relative history buff just might not have. Nose art was something that went a long way to boosting morale for our shy fighters. My father in law has quite the collection but he admitted that he had not seen this information in book form. I proudly noted that although he, as always gets a lot of presents at our family Christmas party, 4 gifts did not get opened because his nose was stuck in this book. :-)

Very great pictures from early WW1
The B-29 Command Decision was pictured. I worked on it as a young Airman 2nd. Class. Before Brig. Gen.Kingsbury Took it to the USAF Museum at Wright Paterson AF Base,Ohio. It was credited with shootingdown 5 Russian Migs in Korea.
