Lovely! This is a great gift for a man. It was probably more expensive than it should had been but watch for sales maybe. The size is perfect . Small. Doesn’t need to be huge. I don’t think it was that easy to assemble but it was assembled nicely. Very sturdy.

#& Hex nut and #10 metal cams will not accept the acmes because the pre-drilled hole don't line up. One of each came broke. Screw hole plugs don't fit because the receptor holes are not deep enough. Don't sale these things. Okay for decorations. I promise to never purchase anything that requires assembly from Amazon again. I wasted my money. The wood is nice the engineering is awful. The most disappoint piece I purchased from this web site.

I was concerned about this valet since I did review the reviews. However, I really looked it over on Amazon in the pics and decided that it seems awfully nice even for the price and despite the mixed reviews. I was mostly concerned that it would be wobbly once assembled and on carpet but, it is not wobbly. I love the fact that they provide a black extension cord to help you organize all your rechargeable digital electronics in one place. Plus, additional room for everything from your pockets and room for cuff links, tie clasps, and studs. What was negative was the instructions for assembly is that there are only pictures for assembly and no words. So, if I convince you to buy this valet, be sure to study the instruction pictures very, very closely. I noticed one person complained about the Styrofoam that the valet was packed in. They're correct, the styrofoam is messy. So, I kept my vacuum with the brush and hose attachment nearby and kept cleaning up the stray styrofoam along the way. This valet is expensive but I believe provides the best value for the money. I believe it is sturdily built and am pleased it is not wobbly on carpet. I would recommend this valet to any man who wants a classy valet.

Very nice item, decided to keep inspite of the scratches and dings.

Unit is beautiful, however... There is a hairline crack in the wood for the door. We had to glue it, and you can see it. Not optimal, the rest of the piece is lovely. I am very disappointed with the fact that there was a cracked piece, especially for the cost of the item...

After reading the reviews, I was concerned about receiving it with broken parts or difficult to assemble. It came without issues, looks nice, and will do what I wanted it for.Assembly instructions are horrible - just a one angle picture for each step - straight on, when the assembly may be done from the top, bottom, or side. Nothing printed except for the number and description of the hardware.It took me an hour, now I could do it in 10 minutes or less. Put the first step - top shelf on base, backwards. Mostly a few small connectors needing a Philips screwdriver.The $100+ cost for "professional" assembly is ridiculous. Anyone could assembly one in 10 minutes after one try. Gave me the impression it may require some skill level. Takes none.

Don't waste your money. Obviously, the manufacture/seller could not care less about ripping off their customers. First, many small parts are missing from a sealed bag, so I know there was no quality control check. Second, the instructions are a joke. They are the worse I have ever seen. Extremely confusing. I had to take it apart and reassemble. Third, there is no 'charging' cord. It is just an extremely cheap extension cord that does not even have 3 prongs. It is definitely NOT for charging electronic devices as they make you believe in their description. What explains everything is what is clearly marked on the box ... Made in China.

I love this thing! It was a little cumbersome to put together, but the end result was great.
