UPDATE on the Mtech Marine Tactical with the G10 Blade
Since I originally purchased this back in 2017, I have literally re-bought it dozens of times. I give these out to firemen, police officers, other outdoorsmen, and friends and family, and not a single one of them have failed to be seriously impressed by this knife. In fact the only negative comment I have ever had is that one of my friends cut through a 4" oak branch with it and had to re-sharpen it. I saw one reviewer who gave it 2 stars because he claimed it was "opening too often". To be honest, I think that would be user error, or maybe the screws needed to be tightened on the handle. I have NEVER had a problem with the blade opening on its own, and never felt like this knife presented a hazard to me or other users because of a faulty opening. As I said in the original review - I REALLY like this knife - it is BY FAR one of the best knives I've found on Amazon. There are others like it, similar, but not nearly as rugged as this one. I like the washed tone on the blade and handle, and really appreciate that there is so much STEEL on the handle itself. It does have a nice hard rubber grip section, but steel on each end of the handle. It is a bit heavier and larger - close to 9 inches open, with close to a 4inch blade - than my other knives, and that's a nice thing. It certainly has the appearance that it is well-built and will be around for a long time to come. One of the first blades I've purchased (other than a S&W) that comes with a really nice sharp blade. The blade itself is sufficiently thick enough that you won't have to worry about it bending or breaking, and I like the fact that the blade is a tanto. I often use it to break up thick frozen ice, and have never had the blade bend, break a point, or slip the lock on me.Oh, and it is FAST on the opening. With a little practice, I can pop it open faster than any switchblade I've seen, and the blade locks FIRMLY in place, with a very solid release. And lest you overlook, it - it has a really nice price! If you're looking for the best pocket knife, that will last you a LONG time, and provide good, reliable service, with a long-lasting sharp blade, this is the one for you!And NO, I did not receive any free knives or other remuneration for this review. It's the best damn knife around, and that's all that counts.

Excellent product for the price
I have had this product for a couple of months now. This knife was bought as a quick replacement for my normal everyday carry knife. I normally carry a Kershaw Blur, but the blade broke, so I bought this knife to hold me over until I could have the Kershaw blade replaced. This knife is about 1/5 or less of the price of my normal knife. I am absolutely amazed at the product I received for the price I paid. This is much better quite than I was expecting. The knife is tight and well built. The blade is not nearly as sharp as my other knife, but sharp enough. The finish has held up well and looks good. The pocket clip has not loosened and is sturdy. I did put some pressure on the blade to pry a nail out of a tire. I was expecting the blade to break, but it held up just fine. It says the knife was designed in the USA, but I believe the knife was made in China. I don't like that, but that is the only negative I have about this knife. I will update this knife after more time to let you know the durability of this knife. So far so good!

What a knife!
This is top tier GSN (gas station knife) it might not be a big brand name, but these Mtech knifes, especially this one are really good for the price. It’s solid metal and has really good weight. The spring assist is very solid and gives that satisfying snap when you open it. Out of the box it’s very sharp, it exceeded my expectations. This is probably one of the best feeling knifes I’ve ever had.

Very well made for the price
Bought this for an emergency tool to stick in my vehicle's console. Can't say I have got a chance to test the windshield breaker, or the seat belt cutter, but the knife is plenty sharp and the half smooth/half serrated blade should work perfect for a lot of applications. It's very well made, honestly for the price I don't think I could have done better. Definitely better than the oddball knives I pick up in Chinatown.I have never really bought an expensive knife before, so I can't compare it to that, but dozen or so random $15 and under knives I have picked up over the years, this one is significantly better made and stands above the pricepoint. It has USMC Marine logo and stuff on it, I don't know if that is authorized by them, or meets some kind of specification or not. I'm not a soldier, just thought this knife had all the features I wanted in a emergency tool.

QUALITY!!
This knife is all METAL!! This knife has been dropped on concrete so many times and it has never broken!! It’s also really sharp and love using it to open boxes and cut rope when scuba diving!!

Very good life for the money.
All in all this is a great knife. It’s sturdy, feels good and came pretty sharp. It’s definitely my daily knife. The only drawback is the clip...every so often I brush against something and the clip will catch and bend. Then I have to take it off and bend it back into shape. I did get a second one because I do like it and I’ve only bent the clip once since I got it.

Good for the money
Picked up this knife as an in town EDC. The spring action is nice and the liner lock was very easy to operate. The blade was significantly sharper than most knives at this price point. The handle was surprisingly comfortable and the weight feels good in my hand. The pocket clip is just right and I do not notice the knife in there while carrying it. I have not tried the seatbelt cutter or the glass breaker, so cannot speak to those. Please keep in mind these opinions are based on this being a low cost knife. There are many knives just like this one that can easily out perform this one, but they cost significantly more. For the money, this works great.
