Should've upgraded to this years ago.
Our old kitchen faucet started having issues so I decided to try a smart one this time. I was surprised & frustrated to see that most of the smart faucets are going with motion detection sensor which is perfect for public restrooms but a terrible idea for kitchen. I came across this faucet, looked at the simple design, positive reviews, practicality of touch operation and decided to go with it. I almost bought an adapter so that I don't have to keep on changing batteries. It's been more than a month we've have been using it and our family loves it. My 6 year old who can hadly reach the handle can now simply turn on/off with touch. If my hands are messy, I simply touch my forearm or elbow and it works like charm. The light indicator for water temperature is also useful. Water pressure is great and I love the rinse mode to rinse plates etc without wasting too much water. It's totally worth every penny you pay for it. Installation was not that difficult, if you are a bit handy. Just go for it!

Great Faucet.
Great faucet - love the light that changes colour with the temperature. Easy to control the temperature.

Nothing negative!! Great purchase!!
I love love LOVE this faucet! The ability to turn it on with a touch from any part of my hand/arm & not contaminate the faucet is priceless when avoiding bacteria! I also love that when the water is on there is a color indicator to tell you the temperature cold (blue) warm (purple) and red (hot) AND if youโre like me and forgetful, it will shut off if no activity for a while ๐. It also has a slim design taking up less of my counter space. One of my favorite purchases for our new home!

Handle Must Be On For Touch To Work. Pipes are PEX-like and Can be Hard to Work With.
I was looking to replace my Moen MotionSense and decided to try a touch-based faucet. If you've never used a MotionSense, the faucet handle doesn't physically turn on/off the water - that's for the solenoid to do. I've always been paranoid that solenoid could malfunction and flood my house so enter the Delta with Touch2O. The Delta is a bit different where its solenoid can only turn on the water if the faucet's handle is on... like a safety for your faucet. I didn't get the AC adapter so 6AA batteries can stop the you from getting water. This is true with most any solenoid-based faucet so just have batteries on hand. I was a little disappointed with the hoses that came with the faucet. They are PEX-like so they're really difficult to bend around tight quarters. The traditional metal braided hoses are much easier to work with and don't stress your cut off valves if you have to bend the hose. At one point, I honestly thought about getting PEX tools/fittings to cut the hoses for a better fit. The 1.8GPM rating is better than some of the other faucets on the market. There is a definitely difference from the outgoing Moen at 1.5GPM rating so this is good. The spray head, however, leaves a little to be desired. There is no "off" mode from the spray head. I didn't know how much I needed the mode until I didn't have it. The shower mode is not 360. Only the sides of the head have shower holes. This might increase pressure a bit but reduces coverage. The "high pressure" point mode is pretty, but no where near enough to replace elbow grease. There is also an LED that indicates water temperature. Blue for cool, red for hot, and something purplish for warm. To be honest, it's got a bit of aesthetic value but unless you're running the faucet, waiting for the water to get hot, and want to get an indicator from across the kitchen, I'm not sure if it's useful. It's been about two weeks and the Delta Touch2O is still in my kitchen so I think it was a decent purchase. There was a little bit of transition from MotionSense but the family seems to have adjusted with virtually no signs of mutiny on the horizon.

Flawed design. Doesn't work if there are no batteries.
DO NOT BUY! The faucet itself seems to work but once the batteries die, the faucet no longer works. I'm pretty sure this faucet is going to send me to the nut house. You have to keep the faucet open to use it properly but if you do close it it won't turn on when you open it because you're touching it so you're sensing it off. It's literally the dumbest design. If you don't want to drive yourself nuts, don't buy this. The return window is so short as well. By the time I realized this was driving me nuts and I really did want to return it, it was no longer returnable. I did give it a couple weeks to see if I would get used to it and I did not.
