Everything works great Bought it plugged it to test it as it is a gift. Everything seems to work great read the game fine, controller worked fine, worked with the extra controller and memory card I bought separately, was expecting something to be a miss with it being a 20 year old console but I have no complaints. Thank you very much

I had never seen the slim version of the PS2 before, but we bought this to replace an old standard one we bought from Cash Converter that skipped, even on games which were not damaged, and seemed to struggle to read them. Now the games play much more smoothly. They don't skip, and the unit runs very quietly, not struggling at all. I'm very glad we got this one. In addition, the fact that it is a newer version makes it less likely to stop working. It looks like almost a perfect miniature of the larger unit, except that the games go in the top, but that's kind of cool. Now we can do some old school gaming, and introduce our son to some of the greats.

The console itself works perfectly with a second controller I have but the console doesn't read inputs from the one included in the sale.

The console works perfectly fine and was delivered quicker than expected. It also came with the 2 games (both I will never play) and a 3rd disc inside the console which I'm guessing shouldn't have been there, but I'm not complaining.The reason I didn't give 5 stars was because it was missing a lead from the power adaptor to a wall socket and the 8mb memory card. Luckily I had a spare lead to plug in and get it working. I did contact the seller and they delivered the missing contents, and another game for compensation, the next day

My son's old Ps2 died (Motherboard fried). He has loads of games, most of them more fun than his Xbox360! So what to do? I did not want a used Ps2 because it will probably be on it's last legs anyway. Found this, advertised as new, sealed, so took the chance. Superb, came factory sealed, all new and wrapped perfectly. It's a later version than his old one with many mods. It has different ports, the power pack is built in (No brick on a lead) and the lid is made of a different plastic so hopefully won't warp (You had to bend the old one so it would make the lid closed contacts. They should continue to manufacture the Ps2, lots of people out there with large game collections and good for younger kids, most Xbox games not suitable for the youngsters. I might buy a spare!
