It’s a set of 2 to hold 2 different speakers. I have mine in different bathrooms.

Q: How do you separate the two pieces (step 1 in the instuctions)... I can’t separate them?

Place a flat head screw drive into the push pin on the bottom while pulling the arm and mount into opposite directions
