Excellent Trilogy
This was a fantastic trilogy, and I’m glad all 3 books were packaged as a set. It’s great to be able to read straight through, and these books just flew by.Like all of Nora Roberts’ books, this trilogy was well written, with well drawn, interesting characters, a fascinating backstory that unfolded throughout all 3 books, a setting so beautifully described, that you could almost smell the flowers and feel the humidity, and a fabulous tale, spun so artfully, that it easily flowed from one book to the next, keeping the intrigue going all the way to the end. It was full of romance, mystery, some sadness, lots of laughter, enduring love, and a family ghost.I really enjoyed these books, and I was endlessly entertained to the last page. I loved the setting, full of beauty, detail and color, the charming characters, and a really cool ghost story. If these are some of the things you like in a book, then this trilogy is perfect for you. I’ll definitely be reading it again in the future, it was that good! Give it a try, you won’t be disappointed.

Outstanding Series!!
This is such a great book, that I look forward to going back and reading these stories again like some of her stories that I already have, and now I find myself impatient to read the rest of Nora Roberts' stories right now. Hot, Hot, Hot, love scenes, a well written, creative and intriguing story about an old southern family and their ghost, an adventure to find out who she was and why the ghost called Amelia seems to throw a tantrum every time someone in the house begins to fall in love. The entire series is so well written, plus has inventive, vivid characters, all on top of seriously wonderful love and romance. Each story is about one key person's path to finding your soul mate and love. How they are all linked through intricate, messy connections to each other, the house, and the past. It's almost like a blockbuster movie you get the privilege of witnessing about these people's powerful, emotional, and often times painful journey while falling in love. Roberts is one of my most favorite author's, and she doesn't disappoint in this series. Her unique style and classy, yet moving love scenes, paint a beautiful picture that leaves a person longing for something similar for themselves. All of that is combined into this fantastic series that has a unique mystery from the past and makes this set a "must-have"!!!! I didn't want to set it down....seriously!! Lol I was nodding off over my book on several different occasions. Roberts' ebooks are on average a little more expensive than some, but I still say they are well worth the price and more to have a her talent and creativity in your library collection!!!!!!

Fun for the Gardeners and Flower Lovers Out There--Standard Nora Roberts Fare Otherwise
Typical Nora Roberts trilogy format--the women characters are well delineated and interesting, particularly the middle aged founder of In the Garden, the men characters less well explored (which is typical of romance books)--although I liked the middle aged love interest for Ros very much--a refreshing change from the standard 20-30 something men in this genre. The gardening motif is a nice frame for the series giving a beautiful and complex background for the plot and action. I enjoyed the first two in the series the most, by the time Red Lily came around it seemed a bit worn out, everything relevant about the main characters had already been delineated and the love story between the principals was a bit hackneyed. The angry psychotic ghost pushed the plot along through the first two books and we finally find out what sent her around the bend and what caused her to haunt Harper House, but by that time you really couldn't care much about it because she was a truly unlovable down and dirty person in life, so why care much about her ghost other than laying it? As I said, my overall assessment is that the first two books in the series are much stronger and more enjoyable than the third, but as a loyal reader I kept going just to see how it turned out.

This one is about a ghost
Nora cannot write a bad book, just ask any if her millions of readers. I really like her series. This trilogy focuses on what goes on in & around a southern mansion that has been handed down through generations, along with its ghost who usually sings to the babies but has become sort of unhinged. The place has been turned into a big garden center that everyone who lives there works at. The owner has hired a new manager, widowed with 2 kids, who lives there and also a young pregnant distant relative stays there. There are other characters as well who all work together to find out who the ghost was- and try to stop her.
