TIJN Sleep Glasses with Blue Green Light Blocking, Red Light Lens for Computer Gaming, Screen Fatigue & UV Protection

Pretty much my entire life I have had excellent vision. I was often called "Eagle-eye" because I could see things other people just couldn't. My eyesight has been getting fuzzier over the last 6 years - in fact, it started the exact time I had an increase of time in front of the computer. The last time my eyesight went funky, it was because of my junky, flickery work monitor (one of those old CRTs). I actually had to get glasses because I became nearsighted. Once the monitor was replaced, my eyesight went back to normal. This time around, I became farsighted. I had to get reading glasses because I couldn't read medicine bottle or even paperwork I had to complete! I figured it was still a monitor issue, considered when I first started noticing the trouble and how long it has been going on. But, I thought it was not quite the same problem since it was not causing the same vision stress. When I read about the harm of blue light, I figured that might be my problem. I looked through the glasses on Amazon, and picked these for the reviews and the color (I love pale pink!). These glasses look just as I was expecting them to look. They are a pretty, pale pink - almost silvery pink. The frames are translucent, so they don't stand out on your face, which I like. They are sturdy and well made - I also love that they don't have nose pads! They come with a lens cleaning cloth, which is very nice. They also come with a blue light tester. It's hard to tell if the tester works since if it does you're not supposed to see anything. But it was nice that they thought to put that in the package anyway. I can tell that things do look a little more yellow with them on - it's not a weird, unnatural yellow, just makes everything a bit softer. Like you're in incandescent lighting rather than fluorescent lighting . They do have a bit of glare off them, which seems to be a common problem with blue blocking glasses. But when looking through them, it's barely noticeable - mostly noticeable for the people looking at you. I have heard that there are blue blocking glasses that don't have glare, but they are way more expensive. I think for the price of these glasses, it's perfectly fine. Do they work? How do you tell? It's not like you can even really see the light they are supposed to block! But, I do believe that they are working for a couple of reasons. There have been several times that my eyes were hurting from looking at my laptop screen. I put the glasses on, and in just a minute or two, my eyes were no longer hurting! That right there is good enough for me to continue using them. But it gets better - after using the glasses for just a few weeks, I can now read things without glasses that I haven't been able to read in years! Definitely what I was hoping for! These glasses have no strength, they are NOT reading glasses. But they have been allowing my eyes to rest and heal. I will be getting another pair of blue blocking glasses so I can have one at home and work. If you look at screens a lot, it's a good idea to think about getting glasses like these, even if you aren't experiencing problems yet. Apparently, from what I have read, the damage that blue light causes to your eyes can be permanent and happens gradually over time. I wish I had known about these glasses years ago!

These helped my eyes so much with strain!!! Even just in bright rooms I would wear these and they helped me so much. Highly recommend!!

I like them, but my only issue is that the tint is on the bottom of the lens as opposed to the top. I got them for light sensitivity and having the top portion of the lens clear doesn't help me outside or in stores with bright lights. I didn't realize the tint wasn't on the entire lense when I purchased them tbh. I thought it was just the way it looked in the photo. Overall, they do help though, so I'll keep them and look into other pairs.

These glasses are great for computer work and screen time. The clear square frames look surprisingly stylish, and they’re lightweight enough that I can wear them for hours without feeling like I’ve got a couple of bricks sitting on my face. The best part is they give me that “serious professional who definitely knows what they’re doing” appearance—even when I’m actually watching YouTube videos and pretending to be productive. 😂 They fit comfortably, look good, and are a nice inexpensive option for anyone spending way too much time staring at a screen. ★★★★★ — My eyes may or may not thank me, but my new “smart guy” look definitely does. 😎

The TIJN Sleep Glasses are pretty nice. Standard design and not too bulky. The box it came in was also pretty nice as well. Although hard to tell if it actually filters out 99% of blue light. When I wear this product before I go to sleep, I find that it does help signal my body that it is time for bed. Pros: Design: Comfortable design. Glasses aren't too bulky or weirdly shaped. Sleep: Wearing this before bed makes me super tired. It seems to help set my circadian rhythm, allowing me to fall asleep much faster the few nights I have worn them before bed. Cons: Lack of Verifiability: These glasses are marketed as being able to filter out 99.99% of blue light. I know there are a ton of glasses that claim this but don't actually work. TIJN says they have been tested but I could not find any proof of this test. Although it seems to be working and helping me sleep, since I can't find a verification of the product's purpose, I can't rate it higher.

I have been wanting to invest in a pair of these for a while now (my normal prescription glasses are no longer the right prescription for my eyes, but do have the blue-light blocking lens) but wanted to find a cute pair I could wear at work. I had these in my cart for like a week and finally pulled the trigger yesterday, they were delivered first thing this morning so I was able to test them out all day long. :) Can I just say that I love them?! 'Cause I do. I work in Customer Service and am pretty much under florescent lighting and glued to a computer desk 5 days out of the week. I also do graphic design and manage a few social media accounts so- guess what? I am in/under/around SO much blue light. Wearing these all day today, I didn't have the out-of-focus feeling, my eyes don't feel tired or drained, and I overall feel a lot better. Placebo effect? I don't know. I wore my glasses yesterday, and didn't feel anywhere near this good all day long. So I think they really help, I suppose only time will tell though! I have a pretty small face, and previous reviews mentioned how large these frames are- I still think they're really cute. The're super light-weight, I didn't notice any glare at all, and I think they're extremely comfortable (more-so than my other frames, actually!). Also, you can't beat the price if it helps and improves your workday, so I'll just leave it at that. With all the negative and harmful effects of blue light in this day + age, I think everyone should spring for a pair of these, especially at the price they're offered! (The only thing I must admit I'm a little confused on, is why these aren't offered on the company's website? I feel like so many other frames and glasses are offered, but blue-light blocking lenses are nowhere to be found. Other than that, super happy camper. Definitely recommend!)

So I'm in my senior year of college and my major is largely research based so I'm always on the computer probably over 6 hours a day. I get really bad eyestrain by mid day and it's been giving me migraines everyday for the past 2 weeks. I ordered these glasses knowing I had a huge assignment coming up and thankfully they arrived early in the morning. They didn't come with the littlw blue light in the ad but they did come with a small plastic pouch and a cleaning cloth. I tried them on and yes they are a bit yellow. It didn't seem like it was very strong which had me worried at first. I tried them on, I've been on the computer since 9am in the morning it's now a minute away from midnight and no migraine. And no irritated painful eye strain, just a little sleepy lol. Definitely recommend this for all my fellow college students who pull all nighters and never leave the library. I will say they are not reflective in pictures but I'm not really wearing them for aesthetic purposes although they are cute. I've seen several people post that online blue light blocking test. Yeah... uhm that's not really a good test for this kind of thing. Yes these do not block 100% of blue/ green light. In order to do that you would have to buy glasses or change your computer night light settings to 100% orangey red color in order to completely cancel blue color out. At that point you would probably get dizzy/irritated if your color/light sensitive like me. Full orange/ red glasses do exist but i found them more irritating than the small amount of blue light that these filter through. Also with full red/orange glasses you wouldn't be able to distinguish colors properly anymore so you might have a hard time reading or seeing anything that is slightly the color blue. Which in links and documents tends to be a lot. For 16 dollars I am impressed with how well these work. I'll update later if need be, but for now I'm very happy with these.

Got this product quickly and in perfect shape. I got the clear frames and they look so sophisticated, which I was nervous about as I didn’t want them to look “fake” or “cheap”. They really pop on your face and are an great size (bigger/chunky style). As for the blue light block, I’ve been using them for a few days now while watching tv/on my phone and I do notice a difference in my eyes, they aren’t as dry and don’t feel strained/tired from string at a screen all day. There is a slight yellow tint to the lenses but it’s not noticeable at all once on your face from someone looking at you. You on the other hand will be able to notice a slight yellow/beige tint to white/blue colors both on screen and for example looking at a white wall or a blue sky with some clouds. Over all I’m very happy with this product for both style and the purpose and for an excellent price I will probably buy another pair!
