I am absolutely thrilled with the SodaStream® Mountain Dew® Soda Drink Mix! This product has transformed the way I enjoy my favorite soda, providing convenience, great taste, and cost savings. Here’s why I’m giving it a full five stars:Convenience and Cost Savings: This drink mix has saved me from constantly buying 24 packs of Mountain Dew cans. Not only does it save me money, but it also eliminates the hassle of carrying heavy packs from the store and finding storage space at home. One bottle of this mix makes multiple servings, making it a much more economical option.Fantastic Taste: The taste of the SodaStream Mountain Dew mix is spot on. It perfectly replicates the iconic flavor of Mountain Dew that I love. Each glass is fizzy, refreshing, and bursting with the same bold, citrusy taste. Updating my review. Pour very slowly. The newer sodastream bottles have marks on them for where to fill water and how much to fill for the syrup. Just need to pour very carefully; tilting the bottle and pouring the syrup in so it runs down the side into the carbonated water seems to work well. This is definitely the cheapest way to drink mountain dew, and with a 20lb co2 tank you'll save insane amounts of money.If you are careful, this saves insane amounts of money and with a 20lb co2 tank you can make the mountain dew far fresher tasting than any store bought diet mountain dew. The few times I've had to go back to cans of diet mountain dew when out of co2 I have not been happy with them. Being able to carbonate as much as you want and add how much syrup you want easily outclasses store bought diet mountain dew. Make sure to use filtered water, carbonated tap water that isn't filtered has a very tap watery taste even with the mountain dew syrup added.

This sodastream Diet Mountain Dew is always perfect for me, in taste and it is zero sugar in it. This time around the price is worth the money and no bottles leaked. However, the packaging and shipping needs work. The inner box, shipping carton it comes in, the top was perforated again and sealed down with a strip of store-bought shipping tape. It was packed in a larger box with a swath, or a bit of crumpled brown filler paper that didn't provide much protection against the inner carton from sliding around inside. Fortunately, none of the bottles were damaged and they didn't feel like they had been baking in the back seat of a car in 100 degree heat for a day. That last description also refers to a previous case of Sodastream Diet Dr. Pete that came damaged and two bottles leaked and the bottles were very warm. Amazon did refund me for that order. Other than that, the Diet Dew was perfect. No bottles leaked or was over heated. So 1 star off out of five for this order.

Taste just like the real thing.

Before I swore of aspartame, Mtn Dew used to be my favorite, and try as I might with Soda Stream's other offerings, I couldn't get the flavor profile I was looking to simulate Mtn Dew. So when they released the Mtn Dew Zero formula for the Soda Stream a I hopped on it immediately!This really is a home run as far as replicating the flavor of Mt Dew Zero, but IMHO, its actually better. The retail bottle formula is cloyingly sweet IMO, as is Pepsi Zero. Being able to mix the ratio of syrup to water lets me dial in the sweetness to my liking, bringing out the citrus notes in its recipe.Something of note: Back in the day, regular and diet Mtn Dew were well known for their heightened caffeine levels, if ice coffee wasn't at hand, DMD was the stand in of choice and powered me through many a long night of studying. I'm not entirely certain, but it *seems* this Mtn Dew Zero shares that characteristic. I use both Pepsi and Mtn Dew Zero, and use the same amount of syrup for my preferred sweetness, I find that when drinking the Mtn Dew, I have a greater alertness/focus than when drinking the Pepsi. I'm not wired or jittery, it's just a notch more than when I'm consuming the Pepsi Zero. YMMV.The value however, isn't quite there, it needs to match the price of Pepsi Zero, as it stands it's 20% more expensive even if you subscribe to it.
