Viking DLE-200B Two-Way Line Simulator

This is a powerful and deceptively simple gadget. If you connect an old-fashioned analog phone to each of its two ports, picking up one phone will cause the other to ring. If someone answers the other phone, you can talk back and forth.I used this to set up an intercom between the house and my workshop using the "second line" wires on the existing analog POTS wiring. This only took a few minutes to set up and works flawlessly.

This is the coolest device. Arrived new, well packed and works right out of the box. No programming required. Just move some dip switches to change basic features like how soon the ringing starts. No dialing. Plug in two phones, lift one (off-hook) and the other rings. Very compact design.

This little device is perfect for testing incoming calls on a FreePBX system. I'm building out a new phone system for a local school and needed to test the incoming analog lines. The DLE-200B was easy to use and worked perfectly. Just plug it in and pick up the phone, it couldn't be easier.

We live in an old house with phone jacks. I plugged in a line to the phone jack and a line to a phone. Other phones plugged into phone jacks around the house also ring. So cool!

We use this to test between 2 fax machines when setting up copy machines, & it saves us the expense of a second dedicated phone line. We had a problem with the unit almost a year after buying it (looked like it had fallen off of the bench or been dropped, but cant get any of my techs to admit it) and sent it in for warranty repair. It was repaired & returned to us free of charge within a week.Would buy another one in a heartbeat!

I bought this so that I could connect two of my old analogue phones to use as a "intercom" system between floors in my house. My house was wired already so I was able to install one phone upstairs and one on the main floor. The device gives a dial tone and, just as described, when picking up one of the phones, the other rings. The sound quality is good and it is very easy to set up - basically just plug and play.My daughter loves it! She just calls downstairs, demands yogurt, then hangs up! And I love that I get to use some of my favorite old phones!
