Wenn man Eiskugeln* im Drink mag, kann man hier eindeutig zugreifen! Sobald das Wasser gefroren ist, kann man diese auch bereits aus den mitgelieferten Formen auf den Behälter setzen und Deckel drauf - man kann regelrecht zusehen, wie der Block geschmolzen wird und man danach eine Eiskugel ins Glas „werfen“ kann (Wenn man mehrere Kugeln direkt hinter einander schmelzen möchte, sollte man etwas warmes Wasser über den Former laufen lassen!) Man sollte dabei auch bedenken, dass das geschmolzene Eis irgendwo hin muss, also NICHT einfach irgendwo auf ne holzplatte stellen und sich dann wundern, woher denn das Wasser kommt ;) *an alle Speise-Eis-Fans: ob es auch mit Speise-Eis funktioniert, habe ich nicht getestet -> lediglich mit gefrorenem Wasser, um danach eine solche Eiskugel in einen Drink zu packen, um diesen zu kühlen!

This item is classy, well made, and uses premium materials. Here is how it works. YOu use the provided tray to make larger ice cubes and then you put those in this item. It makes a perfectly round ice cube in about a minute. It's pretty cool to watch. You can make as many ice cubes as you want. After two- to 3 I ran the item under hot water, otherwise, it slowed down.

This kit comes with a very heavy metal ice press, drip tray, ice cube tray, tongs, a bar mat, a lowball glass, and a wooden box to store the kit. It is well worth the value, especially for the size of the metal press that you are getting. It presses ice very nicely by conducing heat away from the ice cube, into the metal, melting it into a sphere. This process chills the metal press and only really will press 1 cube over a few minutes, so this is best for hobby/home use, rather than a commercial setting. You can run the press under warm water to press more cubes at a time. I like the box and the while kit in general. My only critiques would be that (1) I wish that the ice cube trays would have more structural support and a better lid; and, (2) the tongs are not very strong or useful and would be better if they had tines. These critiques do not detract from my opinion of the value, quality of the product, and ease of use.

Da ich gerne gute Drinks ( auch Alkoholfrei ) mit etwas Wasser auffülle sind die Eiswürfel doppelt gut, passenden Menge und gekühltes Getränk. Runder großer Eiswürfel ist schnell zubereitet, macht Spaß

Good quality and worth the money. The overall package adds up into a nice gift. The glass however appears cheap, hence 4 stars.
