Avocado Seed Tea – Organic Herbal Avocado Tea from Dehydrated Avocado Seeds, 15 Avocado Tea Bags – Supports Detox, Digestion & Wellness, Caffeine-Free Natural Tea, Antioxidant-Rich, Te de Aguacate

This is a very interesting tea. I've never seen avocado seed tea before and a quick Internet search does not really come up with very many other options outside of this brand. I am a bit confused by the labeling. It seems this company makes both "avocado seed tea" and "avocado peel tea". I purchased the "avocado seed tea" but the only ingredient listed on the label is dehydrated avocado PEEL! I'm also curious why a cup of this tea would be 20 cal. That seems like a lot for a brewed cup of tea with no other additives. By comparison a typical cup of black tea is about 4 cal. The flavor on this tea is actually quite nice. It's very light and just has the slightest flavor that I can't quite pinpoint. Maybe somewhere between floral and green but again extremely light in flavor, which makes it quite refreshing. At the start of the brew it's a very light color but by the end of the four minute brew time that's recommended it's a light amber about the same color as honey. This is very easy to drink with no sweetener needed, although I might try that next and see if it changes the flavor profile at all. I definitely would've rated this higher if there weren't confusing issues with the labeling. There's also a space on the label for a lot number and expiration date, both of which are blank.

Got the avocado tea & am not real confident in trying it because there are some issues with the info on the labels that give me pause. I ordered the Avocado Seed Tea & while the product title on the top & side labels of the container state that it’s Avocado Seed Tea, the ingredient list on the label states “Dehydrated Avocado Peel”. There’s also a space for a lot number & expiration date on the label, but with no info there. On the side of the container, there’s a faint stamp marked “DIC 2025”. All of this is leading me to not feeling good about ingesting it..which is a bummer. I was really looking forward to trying something new.
