Orienteering Compass - Advanced Scout Compass for Hiking, Camping, and Backpacking - Best Survival Gifts for Kids

Great compass works flawlessly. Good for just hiking, hunting , nice all around compass. Good for a bug out bag!

I used this on the Appalachian trail for about 100 miles. Sometimes the NB trail is going east, west, or south. This was handy to have along with the Far Out app. I carried this on my pack belt pocket for quick access. This is a high-impact plastic and survived numerous drops and being dropped with the weight of the pack on it. Obviously portable. Would make a great, inexpensive gift for anyone starting a long hike. After our 10 weeks it still looks new.

This one is almost a match or twin of my old Silva compass. Seems to work fine. I might buy another.

This a very affordable and appears to be durable compass. I bought it for my daughter to take to Philmont for a trip she is taking to the mountains. The face of the compass is bright and very easy to see and even low light. The bezel moves easily and the green plate around the compass is nice for orienting a map.

Glad I found this one to replace a previous TurnOnSport model. The large display on the bezel was key for me. I couldn't read the old one. Only downside is in order to fit the larger bezel, the magnifier was decreased in size, rendering it useless for my needs. The old model with twice the magnifier size is still in good use in the map pouch. This is a winner for an older user!

Has everything you need for a Scout just learning Orienteering. Bright orange color helps finding it from the bottom of the backpack (or on the forest ground) much easier. Priced perfect so it's not a huge deal if it doesn't make it back home.

Works as expected. Very lightweight and fits perfect attached to the binding on my atlas book

Unfortunately the dial gets lopsided and stuck and you have to move it around in order to free itself. Very basic compass and I should have known better with the price.

Product arrived with a bubble in the liquid face that prevented the needle from working correctly, and it had a slow leak that drained out within several days and stained my desk drawer. It became useless as a compass. Big disappointment

Good quality, great for hicking and teaching kids how to use a compass. Didn't break or leak.

I wanted a simple compass for travelling overseas and could not go past this one. It is clear, easy to read and strong enough to handle the knocks that are inevitable during travel. It is sturdy and very well made. I recommend this item highly.

Es un artículo que si bien no lo usas al tener gps u artefactos electrónicos es útil si no los tienes aunado a qué es útil en situación de supervivencia

Good quality for the price. Seems to be accurate
