Durarara!! Season 1 [Blu-ray]

Amazing series with characters you will love!

Maybe I missed it in the product details somewhere but the Blu-Ray is for region b players only. I can't speak for the dvd. I've heard this is a great anime. The 1 star is for the fact that it wasn't clearly stated somewhere that this wouldn't work in US players. Bummer.

I was looking for this series, and I was very happy to find it here and that it could be sent to where I live (Spain). It was sent to my country and it arrived sooner than I though. Perfectly well, brand new. I have nothing but positive things to say.The bluray case comes with 4 CDs inside, all containing the serie (Complete 1st season). Audio in English/Japanese, and English Subtitles. Just perfect!I hope this review helps in anything.

durarara is a truly brilliant anime, where the 3 main characters are quite allright but the support cast steals the show.Ryugamine Mikado moves to Ikebukuro because his childhood friend Kida Masaomi pressures him to attend Raira Highschool with him. There they meet the 3rd main character Sonohara Anri.Masaomi warns Mikado for some dangerous people in Ikebukuro like the insanely strong Heiwajima Shizuo who just may be my favourite character (get mad and throw a vending machine), the dangerous information broker Orihara Izaya (I love humans, so I want to see them in as many different ways as I can). Also there are 2 gangs the yellow scarves and the Dollars. Later there is also the slasher and the 3 friends fates get intertwined with these last 3. It is the story line which is followed throughout the series. In the mean time strange things happen in 'bukuro, there is a lady named Celty, who is known locally as the headless rider, who is lookingh for her -what else- head. There is the "minivan" gang who have 4 members Kadota Kyohei, Togusa Saburo and the otaku's Erika Karisawa and Walker Yumasaki (Yumatchi) they are also 2 of my favourite characters. They are hilarious together (If you mix reality and fiction together and see them as a whole, you can pretend that the things you don't like in reality to be fiction) So it's good that all the characters get their moments/episodes.Ofcourse Mikado brushes shoulders with everyone he shouldn't not far into the series, with sometimes surprising results.This series is fun, exciting and well worth watching. I forgot to mention Simon Brezhnev the black Russian who is a propper for Russia Sushi (Its good and its cheap, its yummy and fighting is bad) as another one of my favourite characters.Everyone should really check it out

Speedy delivery, undamaged & all in working order. (and for those who haven't watched it yet, it's a great show!)

Bought for my grand-daughter. I'm told it's awesome.

Loved Durarara from start to finish. Very very funny with many wacky and crazy characters
