Great for beginners โ clean, accurate cuts and easy to use
I bought this for some DIY projects around the house, and itโs been really useful โ especially for getting clean, straight cuts in timber. I used it to trim down IKEA wardrobes to full ceiling height, and it handled the job brilliantly. The cuts were neat and accurate, and using the track makes a huge difference when you want a furnitureโgrade finish. As a complete beginner to power tools, Iโll be honest: it felt more intimidating than a mitre saw at first because the blade is more exposed. But after a bit of guidance and a few practice runs, I quickly got the hang of it and felt much more confident. The saw feels solid and well made, with a simple, straightforward design that isnโt overwhelming. Itโs not too heavy, and once itโs set up properly it feels stable and easy to control. Powerโwise, it cuts through timber cleanly without any struggle. What Iโve found most useful is how much easier it makes jobs that would be difficult or messy to do by hand โ straight, accurate cuts in seconds. Noiseโwise, itโs what youโd expect from a circular saw, so ear protection is a good idea. The dust port helps with mess, though youโll still get some dust as expected. Top tip: Make sure youโve got sawhorses or proper support set up โ it makes a big difference for safety and keeping the cut straight. Iโve added photos of the wardrobes I cut down (and a short video of the saw in use) so you can see the finish it produces. Overall, Iโd definitely recommend this, especially if youโre taking on bigger DIY projects. It might feel daunting at first, but once you get used to it, it makes jobs much more achievable.

No need to worry about nails in wood
Bought an evolution double compound mitre saw a few years back, I was impressed so bought the circular saw with track. The track was very accurate once itโs cut in. I wasnโt disappointed. I used it to cut up old fence and it went through 4x4 with nails in like a hot knife through butter. Itโs height and angle cutting it very easy to use, my only gripe is my own fault, I wish I had paid a bit more for the cordless model as the cable is a worry when free hand cutting. Great machine awesome blade.

Quality Circular Saw
Very good value and great quality. The multi purpose blade is great for DIY.

Heavy, powerful, great multi-material blade, poor track edge.
The tool itself is brilliant and excellent quality for the price, though not exactly as easy to use as some, with 'fiddly' depth control. excellent blade slices straight through any staples or nails left in the wood (great for trimming doors) The track is not so good, the plastic edge (to reduce tearout) is stuck on and soon loses adhesion, then seems to defy any kind of glue to re-attach. Powerful, (heavy!) and would have 5* if the track tearout edge was better and the tool slightly lighter.

Great for a novice DIYer
Talking as a novice DIYer: I got this to assist me in making some structures for my garden. A chicken shelter and also a chicken run. Also with a view of using it to cut fence posts to size in the future when I replace all my fencing. I couldn't be more please with this. I was daunted by it as it was my first major power tool purchase beyond a drill. But I took to it really well and got to grips with it. It really is powerful and accurate. It is simple to change the angle. I love the handles. Coated in rubberised material really aids my grip and that combined with the ergonomic positioning really helps me hold and use it confidently. I like how easy it is to replace the blade by always having the correct Allen key, which is conveniently to hand by being slid and stored into the handle. The only thing I do not like about it is the circular saw blade had orangey yellow print on it, which obviously gets distorted after use but due to the colour it gives the appearance of rust. Change the print to green or blue! I'm really please with this and glad I spent a bit extra and went for the top of my budget. I could have got a circular saw cheaper but I doubt I'd have been as pleased with it. I haven't used the guide rail yet but I will be to cut some board when I make a workbench for my garage. Its a nice extra that will come in handy. It looks strong and robust. My carpenter friend who works on listed and historical buildings, had a look at this and said it was a good bit of kit.

Saw with track
Good quality, great service

Does the job.
Of all the tools in my workshop, the one I dislike using most is the hand-held circular saw. However, I needed to cut up several full 8 x 4 sheets of plywood accurately and having had good service from an big Evolution compound mitre saw, I decided on this one to replace my rusty old wreck. It was also a very good price. I am impressed. It cuts 19 mm ply like a hot knife through butter, with very little tear out and no burning. The track works well, once you figure it out, but is rather short. A tiny drop of WD 40 helps the saw slide much better. I would like to add another three sections, but the price for the track alone is ridiculous - about the same as the saw + track. I even used the saw to follow a line without any other aids and it was easy to keep on track. The trick is to make sure your workpiece is well supported and clamped. This isn't a toy and will remove your fingers in a heartbeat if it gets out of control so make sure nothing can shift during - or after - the cut. Highly recommended.

Just get it!
So, after returning the Erbaur plunge saw due to it being absolutely garbage. I did lots of research and for the price, this track saw is absolutely amazing. Clean cuts and glides through MDF like butter. It's so much quicker and less fuss than a plunge saw. I own an evolution mitre saw that I've had for years and it's never let me down and I have no doubt this track saw will be the same. Unbeatable for the price. Just wish it came with track clamps.

Sega circolare evolution
Ottimo prodotto oltre le mie aspettative molto robusta e solida unica pecca che le guide sono senza morsetti e non vanno bene quelli normali ma per il resto la ricomprerei ancora

Great saw
The addition of the rails makes here a big difference. I bought extra longer rails and it cuts so clean and straight! Great price too.

Il binario sembra c'รจ ma non c'รจ
Sega funziona perfettisimo, lama universale. Ma non ci sono i morsetti per fissare la guida. Se usiamo quelli rapidi non fanno passare il motore della sega. Quindi o da cercare i morsetti o comprare un'altra guida da 1400 mm che fa spendere ancora altri 65 euro
