I usually don't write reviews but I needed to for this charcoal mask.• It's the consistency of hair dye. Thick, sticky & gloppy. Put down something on floor/sink area. It's beyond black!• The little paddle is so-so. I start with the paddle to put a blob on my skin in strategic areas, then fingers for coverage & spreading well -- very well.• DO NOT get this in your hair > you've been warned. It's thick and sticky.• Give yourself 45mins-1hr for the full drying effects. Did I mention > it's thick! I put on T-zone, jawline. Stay away from eyes & temple-hair.• Peel off leaves a slight tingle behind. It's interesting and not uncomfortable at all, kind of refreshing. Where it is thin, I needed to use a cotton round with witch hazel to wipe vs peel.• I used it nightly on clean washed face for 5 days in a row initially. Then every 3rd day for 2 weeks Sun,Thu,Mon,Fri,etc. Now I use it every 6 to 8 days. Follow peel with your moisturizer. I use Sheisedo.• This product is phenomenal and is 10-☆! I noticed much brighter skin. I'm a 65yo Caucasian female who grew up in a desert town. Tanning was huge in the 70's and I deal with wrinkles AND breakouts. I know! But I've noticed a difference in suppleness and clearer skin. Age spots less visible too.• I highly recommend you try this product today before I buy it all which I'm about to do now that I'm done with this review. Hope this helped.

I've struggled with cystic/hormonal acne ever since my last child (almost 6 years.) I've tried everything to no avail. Tanning beds usually help to manage it but with the stay at home orders I haven't been able to tan which in turn let's my acne run rampant no matter what I do. I've recently purchased a handful of different products (some of which I haven't received yet) and this mask was one of them. My first use was this past Tuesday and my second time was Thursday night after a shower. WHOA! The first time after I had cleansed my face was great...and gross. The mask pulled so much out of my pores that on the side of the magnet I could see all the garbage that it had pulled. Really disgusting to know that even with my face regiment, I still had all that in my pores. After the first use though, I could see and feel a big difference in my skin. My pores had shrunk, my face was clearer, and it felt smooth and lighter. The second time was even worse! I recommend using it after a shower because when I did this even MORE came out of my pores. I cannot say yuck enough. Seriously disgusting, my skin is disgusting. Lol.After the second use my skin looks even better! My acne is clearing and my pores are shrinking even more. This stuff is a life saver and total game changer for me. I don't normally write such long reviews but I just had to share my experience so far with this product. 6 years of struggling and feeling unattractive because of my acne has been hard and I'm so happy I found this stuff. At this point I can't live without it.

This is easy to apply and nice and cool on the skin, doesn't seem to be drying. However doesn't seem to grab onto stuff in the pores, at least not for me, and I wash and exfoliate before use. I will say this takes a lot longer to dry than it says in the instructions. I have very sensitive skin and I have had no bad reaction to this, definitely gentle on the skin. Once fully dry removes well and doesn't pull on baby hairs

It did not lift anything. I'm so disappointed. The product seemed fine and the reviews were mostly great but I tried it 3x and even added a second layer and nothing. Did not have the effect that the others I've bought had.

I ordered these before and they came with the new black packaging. Decided to buy them again because they were great. They said it could be sent in the old packaging but it's the same product. Wrong. The packages came inflated which concerned me, but I finally opened one and have been wearing it for 15 minutes and not a single bubble. I recommend returning them if they come in the old package and it's inflated. The active ingredient is spent inside the package. I gave it 2 stars only because the prior purchase was great. I'd love to change it back to 5 stars if they made this right.
