Great Way To Get Serious About Your Spending!
Cash OrganizerI love the Cash Organizer. It has 12 envelopes in a small binder system, and comes with a pad of journals for you to record all your spending. There are much more envelopes than you will probably need. The best way to use it is to take one of the journal entry sheets and tape it on each of your envelopes. In this way you can use the entire Cash Organizer like a detailed checkbook. It is also small enough to be carried in a small purse, which the Cash Organizer by Dave Ramsey is not.One drawback is it doesn't have a coin carrier like with the Dave Ramsey system. However, at the end of the week, I deduct all my change from each of the envelopes and dump it into a "piggy bank". Another good way to save for small items.Using the system makes me think before I spend. Because of the Cash Organizer, I rarely use my debit card. I pay all of my tithe and bills online when my paycheck is deposited in the bank. Then I withdraw a certain amount of money from the bank for groceries, clothing, misc, entertainment, eating out, etc. I then put the portions into each envelope and record it on the journal entries. The rest just comes natural.I highly recommend this product, and have began to purchase it as a gift for many of my friends.

Is Changing Our Life!
We have had a budget & a $3,500 software program for over a year. Both have helped us, but we have had this for one week & our now actually STICKING TO the budget & software program!! This makes things so simple. It's easy for my husband & I to communicate & stay on the same pg about our finances now. We have always communicated but it took a lot longer to explain where our finances are. Not any more!! All week we have been able to quickly take a look in our envelopes both know where things are at! I love this! I keep mine in my purse like a wallet. Our budget & debt removal software will finally be able to work because we will be doing our part... because now it's not overwhelming, confusing, etc.! Thank you for making this Larry Burkett!! I like Dave Ramsey, but I'm glad I didn't buy his product because all the reviews I've read say the envelopes fall apart very easy. This cash organizer has got great reviews on the envelopes & I can see why... thick & sturdy.

Budget Buddy
I bought this item because my family is following the advice of Dave Ramsey and getting rid of our debt. I put expenses like groceries, pet supplies, beauty supplies, apparel, dining out, etc in the different envelopes that we have budgeted for the month. When the money runs out, We're done.It comes with labels, though they did not suit my needs, so I didn't use them. It also comes with a notebook that I do use. I was concerned the envelopes would not hold up, but I've had it for a few months and so far, I have had no problems.I appreciate that it is slim and does not take up much room in my bag. It's not really elaborate, but the price is right and it definitely does the job.

Practical tool
I really like this. I recently made the decision to cut down on using credit cards. Our family is operating on one income, so I have had to make serious changes in the financial dept. This has been a practical tool in helping me not overspend. The actual envelopes are more durable than they look. I highly recommend this to anyone who is serious about changing spending/saving habits.

Great Item for Vacations & Traveling Abroad
I love this wallet. I've brought it as gifts for friends, and often will give it to some of folks who volunteer overseas. It's like having a detailed cashbook. The envelopes are very durable and it pays for itself over and over again in the money you will save. Also, if you have a high school student or college student, give this to them as a gift. When you are giving them their allowances, have them track what they are spending using their envelopes.Take it on vacation, and I assure you it will be the first vacation in a long time where you don't overspend. It keeps you on track. One quick peace of advice. The day before you receive your paycheck, use the system to record your various amounts. Doing it this way helps you be prepared when you go to withdraw money. This will be the best $11.50 you spend.

Got my money right
I actually don't use this product quite as much anymore. It got me going on a good path though. With God's guidance and provisions, I have become a blessed steward over my finances. This organizer and the advice within got me off to a terrific "start."

Does the job
This is a tidy simple little cash wallet. I carry a small purse and it still fits. It is nice to have your budgeting system with you when you shop. It helps keep you on top of your goals.

Why does saving money have to be a religious thing?
I just received this in the mail and haven't started it using it yet so I can't say for sure how I like it. It seems sturdy enough and the envelopes seem durable. I also like how it will fit in my purse as it is about the same size as my wallet. My first complaint is that there are no blank labels. It comes with preprinted labels for the envelopes but there are only certain ones. I don't have the exact same categories this does, so I'll probably make do by using Wite-Out on the ones I don't need. Also, I don't see why saving money and staying debt-free need to be something only Christians do. I grew up Christian and have nothing against it but I think the scriptures written on each envelope could be a turnoff to some so I thought I'd mention it. Also the booklet that comes with this seems to make an assumption that only Christians are purchasing this. It is also geared to married people as it says "you and your spouse."These are just some little things I wanted to mention.
