Love it!

I grew up on a farm where my dad had a smoke house and cured our meat in it. This tastes like home to me. Brings back memories of my childhood. Excellent product if you like salt cures ham. Also great for cooking red beans and rice.

Try to get a whole ham when home, but this is a nice treat to ease the craving.

If you're a southerner like me, you'll love this country Ham. If you're not a southerner then try some of this ham and welcome to the south.

Really disappointed! Thought sure this product would be superior to others I have tried! Not! Same old “funky”smell.and taste!Even soaking which removes the salt; doesn’t do the job! Not bad; just not Good! I’m just a spoiled Redneck searching for the old time ham I grew up with! I’m 81! Lol! My time runneth out! Gravy mix was delicious! Service was excellent! That’s where it ends! Poor me!

My husband absolutely loved the red eye gravy. Since I’m not a fan of this kind of ham, the size was perfect for 1 person and I only made 1/4 of the gravy packet each time.

I'm not sure who decided to label these packages as "Biscuit Cuts", but they are NOT.These are pieces, what would normally be used in beans or some other dish. (see post-heating on paper towel pic)It almost looks like someone took a ham and threw it into a chopper.Based on this, and the price that I paid for the packages, it's just simply not worth the cost.The taste was okay, that is why I’m giving it two stars... but I will be purchasing other brands in the future.

Just what I wanted. Perfect biscuit size. 4 packages plenty of ham in each package. Perfectly salty taste. Lean and tender. Will buy again.
