Very good $30 flipper knife
Someone tweeted about this knife and the response was it was just about a five star knife. I looked over a bunch of reviews, of course some bad but most people were very happy with this. So I went ahead and ordered it. I figured it couldn't be to bad for a $30 knife with ball bearing pivot. When I got it, the action was a bit stiff. Could barely open it with the thumb studs, but using the flipper was good. Blade centering was very good and the blade is freaking sharp! Worked with it fora few days and I thought, I'll take it apart and add a few drops of oil to the pivot to help it along. Come to find the bearings had some thick grease in them, so I cleaned it up, used a light weight oil instead. Re-assembled it and what a huge difference it made. This thing flips so easy now. It is a new favorite now. For some who say it is very hard to flip open, make sure your not putting any pressure on the frame lock bar when trying to open it. I have done that. It wont open very well. Otherwise, really nice knife, it looks good and it has an anodized blue deep pocket clip too. Well worth the $30

If you could only carry one knife, this would be it.
I become more and more interested in knifes over the past year, and this was the knife that originally peaked my interest. It was also my first "EDC" purchase (every day carry). At 30.00 dollars, I wanted to start small. I didn't know what I was getting myself into and one at this price seemed like a great starter point. After a plethora of knifes later, this one is still one of my favorites. Design wise, it so simple and sleak. It feels premium and looks more more expensive than it really is. This knife provides the second best opening experience, coming in right after my mini griptillian, which was $100.00 dollars. The blade is perfectly centered. I never had to take this knife apart or adjust anything on it. It worked flawlessly out of the box. It comes in around a little more than 3 oz with a length of approximately 8 inches. I love how slim the entire knife is and the consistant metal framing that frames the handle. The blue clip and accents look nice and compliment the metal well. The knife is sharp! Yes, there are sharper knifes. My spyderco delica and my griptillian put this to shame. Yet, for a fraction of the price, this one is a pleasent surprise. I love this knife. I would highly reccomend this in anyones daily carry, whether you are a seasoned knife guru or someone who is just getting started. Simply admiring the quality and features that have gone into a 30.00 dollar product is enough of a reason on its own.

INCREDIBLE KNIFE
Honestly this little knife would be a great deal even at $60.00, for under $30, its a steal. The stainless steel handle is simple, masculine, and attractive. Rugged enough to handle more than anything you could throw at it and elegant enough to wear in your suit pocket. Its lines are beautiful and the blade takes a scary sharp edge, and arrives wicked sharp int he box. The only thing I do not like are the blue accents. RUIKE, PLEASE MAKE ONE THAT IS JUST STAINLESS EVERYWHERE-- no more blue nonesense Anyway, I really cant say anything bad about this little tool. Even customer service (which, granted, is somewhat challenging to actually get ahold of) was extraordinarily helpful when I emailed them. I reached out to ask for a new pocket clip was that wasnt that irritating blue color, and they happily obliged and sent me one free of charge. I was ECSTATIC and although shipping from china to the US took a long time, it was well worth the wait. The new pocket clip looks phenomenal and I used the a wire brush tool on the dremmel to take the color off the thumb stud and the pivot washer. All things considered this is my favorite folder I have ever owned- the only knife I would rather have is a Sibenza, but this knife costs a solid 300 less. Especially considered the price factor, I would recommend this knife to anyone and look forward to more great products from Ruike. Semper Fi, Joshua

Great knife for it's price.
Knife is very sharp out of the box. Feels well made. Awesome acoustic snap when opening. Did require a bit of pivot lube to ease up the detent. The two complaints I have are that there thumb stud is pretty tricky to operate. This is partially due to the placement of the thumb stud and the strength of the frame lock detent. I highly suggest using your thumb nail instead of the meat of your thumb. It's very easy to slip off and cut yourself if you don't know exactly how to thumb flick it. Also the forward edge of the back flipper is a little uncomfortable. I hope they make it just a little larger and round the front of it more in the future. I've smoothed out the edges of mine and I love it. Super slim and feels top notch. All in all I would buy another.

My new favorite EDC knife
UPDATE ------------------------------------------- After a few months I can say this knife truly is amazing, my father in law asked for the knife one day and I didn't think much of it, left for a few minutes and came back to him batoning wood with it! knife took it like a champ, still sharp, no locking or bearing issues, it's like it never happened it's an amazing knife. Edge retention has been good, it's not amazing but its pretty good, I usually just touch it up with a strop a little and it's back to shaving hair. This is a great knife ------------------------------------------- This is my new favorite knife, it has amazing action. Flipper makes this easy while still having enough friction to avoid accidental openings. Looks badass, cool and even a little refined all at the same time. It has good locking action when open, you need to mean to remove the liner lock and I really like this. It's not hard by any means but it won't be unlocked accidentally. Looks amazing, very comfortable in the pocket. The clip works very well and it's comfortable to set in your pocket or take it, no issues, I carry this everyday. The size is good for an EDC while being still very functional as a tool, but for me this is about the max knife size for EDC. The thumb studs are not very useful, except in the few cases where you don't push hard enough on the flipper and it doesn't open all the way. It's painful to open the knife with the thumb stud alone. For me a knife that requires a good amount of force to open it's a good thing for safety reasons. If you want a flipper knife that opens by barely putting your finger on it, either look elsewhere or loosen the screws a bit. This is easy enough to open, comfortable on the pocket and hands, looks amazing and comes very sharp out of the box BUT to flip it open you have to mean it. No accidental openings

Well made knife
I wanted a simple, elegant, easy to carry knife for those times when a larger knife such as a Spyderco Manix 2XL, or a Cold Steel Recon 1 were less appropriate. After reading the reviews about the Ruike P801 and noticing the less than $30.00 price tag I decided to give it a try. It fits the bill nicely. It is slim, elegant, tastefully finished, with a 14C28N steel blade that came sharp and is still sharp after almost 2 months of intermittent use mostly to cut paper, cardboard, twine and light, thin, plastic. Fit and finish are spot on. It has weight for it"s size at 4.2 oz, but not overly so. It has a 3.5 inch blade, it is just under 8 inches in overall length, slightly over an inch wide, and about 5/16 of an inch thick, so definitely smaller than either of the knives mentioned above. Because it is slim and a frame lock it must be held properly for rapid deployment, but once this is understood, deployment either by thumb stud or flipper is quick and smooth thanks to it's ball bearing pivot. Lock up is solid with no blade play in any direction and the blade is perfectly centered unlike my Recon 1 or either of my Manix 2XLs one of which I returned due to fit and finish issues. Blade and handle are stonewashed and do not readily show scratches, from rubbing against keys in my pocket, but I use a pocket organizer anyway so metal to metal contact is minimal. All in all I am happy with this purchase. Being a knife for lighter, more gentlemanly, and intermittent use(for me at least)I am expecting it to provide quality service for some time.

Best $30 I've ever spent!
This is a great knife. I've bought 4 so far, and I wouldn't be surprised if I purchased more. I've owned $100+ knives that don't function as well, I'm having trouble understanding how Ruike has managed to produce something of this quality for such an affordable price. Here are the reasons I love this blade, and why I'm not afraid to use the heck out of it everyday. 1. Great blade steel for the $. It isn't razor sharp out of the box, but it's pretty good. Took me a half hour to polish it to a mirror, and now it push cuts through phone book paper. 2. It functions so smooth. Rides on bearings, has a solid detent, and it drops closed with ease. 3. It has a deep carry clip 4. No blade play forward, backward, or side to side 5. The only bad review I saw was discoloration of the anodizing, mine came a bit off, it is so insignificant it really doesn't bother me. 6. The blade is perfectly centered when closed! 7. There is a stabilizing pin, I wasn't expecting this due to a disassembly I watched on YouTube, they must've fixed that problem. Couple bad things, results may vary 1. The factory grind angle was a tiny bit off near the tip. I was able to fix it with my sharpening system, but many people may not have access to that or know how to use one. That being said, my $200 ZT had a weird factory grind too. A knife is rarely ever perfect out of the box. 2. The thumb stubs kind of sucks. I would be completely happy if they weren't even there. The detent is so strong that I can't get a good enough purchase on them to deploy the blade. I like unassisted flippers, and if you use the flipper tab the strong detent makes this blade flick out quite nicely. 3. The frame lock engages at about 40%, which is perfect, but if you grip the knife firmly and apply pressure it shifts in to about 50%. I never expected perfect tolerances with a sub $30 knife, but this kind of bugs me. Hopefully it breaks in, or will stop it once I polish it up a bit. Overall, spend the $30, and give this blade a home in your pocket. Baby it, beat the shit out of it, lose it, and buy another one, it's only $30 and functions like a dream. Hell, do what I did and buy 4 for your friends and family, you will most certainly not regret it.

Das ist das schärfste Messer "Out f the Box", was ich je erhalten habe!
Tolles Messer!

Alles in allem empfehlenswert.
