The viability on these is pretty good for the super hots- in general the super hots I have tested tend to have lesser viability, but these were above average when I tested them-90%. They have a government d base flavor, aside from the incredible heat, but you do have to reduce the heat with vein removal and dilution with food and/or milk, to get to the taste. Good value.

They don't germinate well at all. Only three seeds germinated. I grow over 100 pepper plants a year. These are the worst seeds I've had yet.

Do not buy these not a single seed sprouted or showed any signs of germination

These pepper seeds are amazing! I soaked them in water for 24 hours before planting them in a pot, and they’ve been a dream to grow. I absolutely love these Carolina Reaper peppers. They thrive in full sun. One has already started sprouting, and I can’t wait for them to start producing peppers. They’re super easy to grow, and I’m so happy with how they’re doing. Highly recommend!

It's still a little early for me to confirm these are Carolina reapers, but the seeds are pepper seeds and all of them appear to be properly developed, no indication of viability issues. There was a tiny amount of pepper debris in the seed packet, but not enough to obscure finding the 15 seeds in my packet. This variety of pepper does require a little more care than others to get started. Unless your germination area is naturally very warm, you will need a heat mat and a bit of patience. These can be very slow to germinate if you don't keep the seeds at the optimum temperature (and maintain appropriate moisture).
