NOVICES PLEASE READ this review!
The part itself seems very good, and works as well as the original. The color is good, no apparent defects, the touch effects work well. I might be imagining it, but it even seems like it's using less power. Here's what you need to know about this part.First: buy a pair of pointed tweezers! Angled ones would be even better. It'll make the job a lot easier on you and your patience. A small paintbrush may also be needed to remove the dust that built up around the ear piece. Mine was caked with dust. I removed it, and peoples' voices are now much more clear when having phone conversations. If you are watching a YouTube video to help you with this repair, the video likely will not cover everything that is specific to THIS particular unit. The videos I watched did not cover everything. Different replacement units vary in what tiny parts are supplied, and what needs to be removed from the old screen and reused on the new one. It helps to continuously compare the old screen with the new one, and play the "what's different" game so you get all the parts you need to reuse transferred to the new one.Be VERY careful when removing the earpiece! The circular metal film that goes around the screw hole is the ground for the earpiece, and it will not work without it connected. The earpiece is stuck on there pretty well, so yanking at it may rip the ground film or break the electrical spring connectors. Be patient and pry carefully.Parts that needed to be transferred from the old screen and installed on the new one (in the unit I received):- The little opaque, white, square piece of plastic behind the LED indicator- Two little pieces of rubber - one near the light sensor, one near the IR sensor- The plastic backing plate behind the earpiece- The earpiece- The cameraThere's a piece of blue plastic that's placed over the large square ground plane for the rear facing speaker, and black adhesive behind that. I verified with a multimeter that this is indeed a ground plane, and that the plastic isn't conductive, causing that ground plane to not conduct to the camera. The camera's grounds themselves have continuity to other grounds, so it will probably work with the adhesive left on. I'm not sure why they put it there. I personally removed it so the ground plane would be open, and everything works fine. If you don't, it should still work fine. Maybe the seller can chime in on this.Overall, replacing this screen was a little more involved than some other Android phones, but not near as obnoxious as working on an iPhone. The part works great, and I would recommend it.Good luck with your repair!

So far so good.
Was a perfect replacement for my broken screen. The how to video I watched on youtube didn't mention moving over the rubber part for the proximity sensor and a few other parts by the speaker. That is the reasons other report the screen going black when making a call. But the screen replacement went easy. I had to disassemble the screen about 3 times to troubleshoot existing issues my phone had. But nothing to do with the replacement screen. The tool kit that came with this screen is another story. The plastic pry tools are almost useless. Screwdrivers work good. Suction cup is OK. I used a razor knife to separate the old screen from phone back. Used the plastic pry tools supplied to remove ribbon cables and other items where needed. Am writing this review on the repaired phone so overall was a complete success. Take your time, work in plenty of light, and you shouldn't have any trouble with the repair. Keep the old parts until you are sure the repaired phone work as it should before discarding.

Has everything you need!
I actually got this for my boyfriend his phone screen was cracked. He took it to a business that specialize in replacing screens, ET see. The technician there had actually recommended that he try to buy the screen elsewhere because he would be charged a lot less if he could come in with his own screen. even the technician was extremely impressed with the quality of this product, and commented that my boyfriend should actually buy another one of these, just to have on hand, because it was just as good or better than anything that they offered at that business.

It was a good purchase.
The screen seems as bright as my original one although it seems to turn the screen off differently but touching the button in the back turns it back on without a problem. Was easy to install after watching the video. I did transfer a small rubber thing the video didn't mention. I wasn't sure what it did, but if it was in the original phone, I moved it. So anyway, the phone worked again, and no problems with the touch screen, so very happy.

This kit works! Completed this review on my repaired cell phone.
Perfect repair kit for the LG G5. No issues whatsoever. I followed the recommended video and everything went just as they described. I am typing this review on the repaired phone. The only addition I would have appreciated is an added picture or description of pinpoints of where to pry the ear speaker and camera off of the inside of the old touch screen so they are not damaged during removal. You may need a magnifying glass to see where the good openings are to pry using a tiny flathead screwdriver. Other than that PERFECT! Thank you!
