Concise and easy to understand
I give this book 5 stars, for being exactly as I hoped for. A brief introduction on the most basic and fundamental subjects in politics. It has achieved its aspirations, by explaining politics in a simple to understand language. Has given enough information in order to understand the key points, but not too much that I would feel like I am wasting my time reading it.

Great book
Really good book to have on a coffee table or somewhere for a casual read. My degree is in political science and this book is very accurate and covers a good amount of history. I saw it at my ex girlfriends house and I bought it for myself, great graphics and a very good quality book. Under priced in my opinion, you will not be disapointed, they also have more in the series if you are interested

Politics
What a mountain of knowledge! Just to my taste and upbuilding. To the extent that I lost my right of copying more text. So I grabbed another means, screenshots. Now I have a system of screenshots. But, in the end, they are not very practical as notes. Better scroll the book on and on. A good model for the structure of any ebook form textbook. I am just constructting one. Have read Philosophy as my first DK revolutionary easy readers. Am intending to read the whole lot of them as a well-earned dessert as an 83 year oldboy economics professor. Have already ordered Religion and a couple of others. Warmly recommend to anybody. Kindle introduction word to word confirmed. Five stars generously earned.

Good Book
A decent book. However, I thought it would've been more comprehensive like some of the other books in the series.

How to run everything.
You don't have to be a political Science student to love this book. it gives a succinct description of every political philosophy from Plato to present. this is a great volume for clarifying your own political positions as well as seeing the vast landscape of ideas that are never discussed in school or university. The book describes the human search for ideas that keep us from being beasts, yet at the same time keep the lights on and the water running.

Awesome book series!
At this point we have almost all books from this series. Out son is a freshman in High School so he is not yet ready for a book that’s nothing but plain print. The books in these series have graphs and timelines and images. They are incredibly easy to read but contain tons of information.

Very impressive book
The book is very useful if you want to know about politics and want to acquire more knowledge about it, the only bad thing I can say is that there are three scratches on the backside

Love it
Great book. The totle explains it well. Bid idea simply put togethar. I dont find much time reading books, but just skim it through and you will get your bite of knowledge. I have bought two from same publisher. Will be buying more. Sastified purchase.

Good book, but came damaged.
I bought this book to complete my collection of "The book of". No problems with the content of the book, but as seen in the pictures, it came damaged -- what was disappointing when I removed the plastic protection it came in, opened it and its cover suddenly fell aside... I took some time to notice it after receiving the pack for I was waiting all of the books to come at once before adding them to my private library. Now I'm waiting for an answer from Amazon to solve this, for I refuse to keep the product in this state. -------- Comprei esse livro para completar minha coleção "The book of". Sem problemas com o conteúdo do livro, mas como pode ser visto nas fotos, ele veio danificado -- o que foi decepcionante quando eu removi a proteção plástica na qual o mesmo veio, daí o abri e a capa caiu para um lado... Eu levei algum tempo para perceber isso porque esperei todos os livros chegarem antes de colocá-los em minha biblioteca particular. Agora estou esperando por uma resposta da Amazon para resolver isso, porque eu me recuso a ficar com o produto nesse estado.
