Love: rotating, spacing, two lengths and is silent.
I love this comb and it works great for both long my haired Yorkie and Breiwer Terrier, who have totally different coats. TommieToo has great hair and enough for 12 other Yorkies. I've had brushes and combs lose their pins, and combs bend easily on their first use.Now TeddyBear could really use some of Tommie's hair and weight. He's very delicate because of his food allergies He's very limited in what he can eat. His restrictive diet which doesn't allow him to have enough of a variety of foods to get enough nutrients in his foods im; is imo doing more harm than good. It's dried his skin, dulled, thinned his coat, which now matts way too easily.☆ So I've been through a ton of brushes and combs in the past eight years. I've been concentrating mainly on detanglers these past 6 months.☆ This comb is quiet, which is imperative. Noise makes time, more noise more time. I might not be bothered by any noise, but if those pins are jangling the least bit in their ears, then every time I move that comb it'll startle them a tinch and that tinch will take more of my time.☆ Pin length; these pins are the for longer hair. In all the reviews that I've read and my own personal experience; longer hair needs longer pins. And the shorter pin imo is the perfect length for detangling Yorkies and Breiwers too! Some of my favorite combs have two inch 2 " pins. I noticed pin length and positive reviews match up more often than not.☆ The space in between pins or # of pins per inch. The fewer pins per inch made a difference in positive reviews and imo makes a difference in getting the job done right. I personally don't see howrotating combs with the same pins per inch as a flea comb can get great reviews anywhere. My TommieToos hair is too thick so I wouldn't waste my time trying to comb her. And TeddyBear's is way too fine and wavy; it'd be abusive to even attempt to comb him.☆ and yes, it's comfortable enough for my arthritic hands to use .☆ These things make a notable difference in mine and my FurrKids comfort, timing and keeping them healthy and happy ♡

Evolution W6165 Shedding Comb with Rotating Teeth -- ideal for training and sensitive heavy coated dogs, effective!
Though I have arctic breeds with heavy double coats requiring a substantial grooming tool, I bought this as an experiment:I foster Malamute puppies and adult rescues with multiple touch issues and aversions (some severe), and have a senior Mal with a thick wooly coat.None of these particular pups/dogs liked being groomed, because it's a totally new experience, they are adverse to being handled, they have never been properly groomed due to technique and/or proper combs, their coat is matted and full of nasty things, they are old and fussy... this list is endless. And you are at the end of your rope wondering what to do.This comb, for arctic breeds, is NOT a grooming tool. It may be a grooming tool, but is not effective as such for these heavy and double coated breeds. It may be a grooming tool for other, lighter coated breeds, but I have no experience with those. But for Arctic breeds, this comb IS A GREAT CONDITIONING grooming tool, being a great way to introduce a puppy to the process, or gaining the acceptance and trust of a pup (dog) who has never been groomed or improperly groomed, and/or has a hideously matted coat; or as in the case of my 13 year old wooly Malamute, her coat is coarse, heavy and needs something that will glide through her coat to get it unmatted and ready for a shedding comb or rake.My recent rescue is a 3-year old Giant Mal who arrived with a thick matted coat and stern warnings that he is "Intolerant of touching and grooming". Well, that is now history, because I began grooming him with this comb, the tines facing up, eventually letting these rolling tines slide through his coat, and now he's become a grooming bucket, laying out quietly while I run a rake around him. I still need to be gentle, but after 6 weeks, we have dispelled the claim that this big boy is intolerant. He just needed a gentle beginning, and this comb was that starting point. If you have a pup (dog) with any of the above grooming issues, this may do the trick. Start easy, and let your pup learn the joys of being groomed, comfortable and handsome.

I can't believe how easy it was!
I bought this comb to help with mats by cat's ears after he was given antibiotics for itchy ears. Larry is a handful. He is the least easy going cat I've ever owned. He doesn't generally like being petted or held. There are only 3 certified cat groomers in my state and I got an appointment for November! Ugh. I couldn't leave Larry possibly in pain or uncomfortable. I was super skeptical but let me tell you! I was patient and gentle while using the comb and it worked!!!!! It only took me about 45 minutes of him allowing me to comb him and him being completely uncooperative to get the mats 100% removed! I am so relieved!

THIS WORKS ON MY RAGDOLL CAT WHO HATES TO BE BRUSHED
My 'Ragdoll' cat has long, fine, silky hair that sheds continuously. On top of that she hates to be brushed, so she gets mats under her arms and back legs. Once the mats are their I take her to the Vet's office to have them shaved off. We were going to go to the Vet's this week to have her underarms shaved again, but then I received this comb, about 2 hours ago. In that time I was able to dislodge 2 mats under her arms without any pain to my cat. I just worked the edge of the mat a little bit at a time until I could comb it out. Another mat, I was able to seperate it down the middle, and then combed it out. I am surprised she let me do this, and I am surprised this comb worked so well. She does try to bite the comb occasionally, but I can live with that. Because the tines roll it does not pull like a normal comb, and the points are thick and rounded so it does not hurt the cats sensitive skin. With a light combing I got quite a bit of the fine hair out of her coat. This has already saved me one Vet bill, so it has more than paid for itself. Any person who has a long hair cat or dog should have one of these. They are fantastic.

:)
4 stars because it's not as good as another one I bought but apart from that it works perfectly well and I like the fact that the pins rotate making it easy to glide through long fur. It makes easy work of removing the tangles from my cockapoo's fur.Delivery was nice and quick too.

Teeth not strong enough for long coated dog
It broke. The handle is far stronger than the teeth which came away from the comb easily
