I needed a cheap little scientific calculator for a chemistry class. Works great. My only complaint is that getting certain functions are different than many others, and it doesn’t come with a quick start guide to show the sequence of keys to get it to do what you want, and tracking down the owner’s manual online was a real PIA. I chose a Texas Instruments calculator because the company has been the gold standard for as long as I remember, and they’re pretty affordable. It’s also sturdy.

This is an amazing calculator for its price and size, even if you use mostly its basic functions! But packs a lot of functions for its price and size for those that want to do much more. I like how easy is to deal with percentages, as many other calculators make it too many steps to add or subtract percentages as when you are calculating tipping, discounts at stores, etc.

I purchased the TI-30Xa for my daughter's college classes, and it does exactly what it's supposed to do. It's easy to use, reliable, and has all the essential scientific functions needed for most math and science courses. The buttons have a nice feel, and the battery lasts a long time. The only downside is that it doesn't have a multi-line display like some newer models, but for the price, it's an excellent basic scientific calculator.

Best calculator ever !! and OMG it's only 10 bucks ...Math/trig was the foundation of my job and this was my go to calculator throughout most of my working life. It's not programmable, but if you know what you"re doing - as you should !! - you don't need programmable. It's a great scientific calculator that will work for years and years. Laid out well and easy to understand, I'd love to kiss the person who came up with this - just hope it's a girl :) ...buy this calculator / you cant go wrong !!

Bought this because I needed this for college math. This calculator takes a while to get used to. I would recommend learning what the keys are for. Look up videos to watch on how to work it before you need it in class. Not bad for a low price.

Wie viele hab ich diesen Taschenrechner seit meiner Schulzeit. Da ich in einer Weiterbildung stecke und keinen mehr hatte war klar das Dieser wieder mein eigen werden muss. Er hat kaum Gewicht und ist somit super leicht, einfache Handhabung und viele Funktionen - für mich am wichtigsten ist die Prozent Funktion. Er funktioniert wunderbar, alles wie gewohnt und der Preis ist für das gute Stück wirklich billig.
