9" Black Wooden Handled Athame Dagger

The quality of the athame itself is very good. It has a nice weight to it. The sheath not so much. 5 stars because I bought it just for the blade, but don't expect any quality at all for the sheath. I think it's just two pieces of cardboard glued together with some fake leather.

This knife is just a common Boot Knife made in Pakistan. It's Full Tang. I just bought it for the look of it. There is nothing that I have seen stamped or any symbol of Witchcraft on this Boot Knife. It's a common knife there is nothing dark about it. It's all in your head if you actually believe that this knife gives you "special powers" or deals with the Occult. Seek help from a Counselor if you actually believe that this is a Dark Object. It's a Hunting Boot Knife. The one I received is Greyish Black. Again it's made in Pakistan they mass produce knives. The Box it came in is labeled Boot Knife. I gave 4 stars because of the Greyish Black tint. Other than that it's pretty nice.

love the style of this, and it is very well weighted, perfectly balanced at the fulcrum. The blade itself will be a bit dull when you receive it, though the point is very sharp (the cover it with a nice rubber stopper) so just be aware of that if you actually plan to cut anything with it. a couple of flaws in the handle where you can tell the pieces weren't quite cut cleanly before being put together, but they do a great job of smoothing the edges so you won't feel a difference as you handle it. Blade has a slight curve to its grind line but it's exactly the same on both sides so may be intentional. The sheath for it wasn't fully stitched up on one side. looked like the machine may have switched around the last half inch and they said "good enough" and used it anyway (which honestly it is good enough to hold it still so I'm fine with it) Overall really great for use as an athame and seems like it's pretty sturdy and will last a long time. Still give it a 5 star, just 4 star on craftsmanship.

Okay knife- handle is plastic or something NOT wood. Holder is trash- might as well throw away. Button broke soon after getting.

The knife looks very nice but is round with tooling marks and seams visible int he handle - a bit more poilishinmg and refinement could have fixed these issues. But the sheath is where this item fails the most. The sheath is actually too small for the knife and made of very cheap vinyl Right off the bat, it looks as if the sheath has shrunken because the knife will barely fit and the length is slightly off - I worred the tip of the blade would come through the bottom of the sheat and I had to force the knife to go in. The belt clip is cheap and the soft button snap the button does NOT inspire much cofidence. I don't trust the sheath at all - in a belt or boot, I can see any number of failure points with the sheath, alone. I would recommend getting the knife and ditching the sheath. Have a replacement sheath made out of Kydex, leathers, or nylon and use a quality belt clip. A real Leather sheath with quality harware would have made this item much better. That said, the pricepoint places this in the Realm of the common truck stop fantasy knife or mall knife kiosk. Its cheap and looks OK for the money.
