For us guys who can’t spend the government’s money on optics
I honestly don’t think you can get a better 3X prism optic than this anywhere for $100 (or 90 if you go the refurbished route). The glass in this optic is actually VERY clear, especially for the price point, and the illumination is focused on the reticle itself (as it should be) and doesn’t light up the entire lens system like a lot of similar-priced optics do. It’s a little heavy (around ~1lb I’d say) but I’d say that’s a plus since it feels very well reinforced and not like it’s going to break (plus, it’s a prism sight, so it’s one elongated piece of glass instead of two separate lens to prevent fogging and make it more durable). To all the nay-sayers who give this product a less than stellar review, they might have messed up on your order specifically but their PR team is hella easy to get in touch with either through email or instagram. And sure, there are a few minor imperfections on the scope where pieces of the outside don’t line up perfectly and a FRACTION of a millimeter of metal from one piece is overreaching, but that’s very minor and doesn’t affect the actual usability or function of the optic. If you want a VERY affordable prism optic and don’t want to pay the Trijicon price tag, this is %100 your optic right here!

Good entry level scope.
I liked the fact that the scope is robust. I had no problems shooting it mounted on an AR.This is sufficient magnification for a +- 200-yard to target. I am not planning to shoot PRS or any other competition matches, it is for fun.The reticles are marked wrong, Windage and Elevation is marked in the incorrect directions. But if you instinctively turn the Elevation LEFT for UP, and Windage DOWN for RIGHT and opposite for down and left you will be alright. My 3rd Monstrum Scope, they may not get the credit they deserve, Quality-Control seem to be the main reason. You either get lucky or a dud.

Nice Sight
First off, theses ARE NOT STEEL. Quick magnet test will show this. Magnet is very weekly attracted to some areas, like the bolts, but thats it.Really like this sight, have 2. Have 2 _one on AR47, use it for 100 yd range. I'm no marksman by a long way, but can consistently hit sub 2" groups. I stick small targets to these crappy cowbell decorations i found. They are 2x2 and the sticky targets fit easily. I havent tried to improve or test accuracy an further yet, sub 2 " will do for now - until I've made improvements elsewhere. It has an etched reticle so no battery fail concerns. Nice field of view and for me, perfect eye relief. Was a little concerned about weight but don't really notice it. Have a Romeo 5 and 3x magnifier on another rifle and prefer the monstrum setup. Downside is BUIS will need to be mounted at 45. Lack of lens cap is another downside, but the trade off is the "sun shade" built into the design for the front lens.Very easy windage/elevation correction. 500 rounds so far, no zero issue. I just had to replace upper receiver with a newer version, same make, so,looking forward to seeing how it shoots now. Nicely made, solid construction.4 stars because of the mount. It's kind of disappointing with all the options available. Mounting knobs are big and bulky - thumb splittingly so on a left side charging handle. But you can remove the mount and reverse it.Overall, if you are consistently shooting 100yds and not worried about close quarters this is a great addition, especially if your eyesight needs a little help.

Better than all red dot sights IMO.
Better than a standard red dot sight. If red dots never look clear to you, you may have an astigmatism in your eye. I do and red dots sights actually look like red smeared check marks to me. This optic is crystal clear and has a sharply defined reticle for me. It's held zero since I set it and it will still works if the battery is dead. Great warranty and looks great on my weapon.

I'll give 3 - pounds
I pulled this out the box and thought dang this is beastly.Anyway that didn't stop me initially, sighted up very quickly and seemed to hold it's dot well. Infact I enjoyed shooting it - but when I got home from that first range trip I took it off my rifle for good.Much too heavy and large for a rifle - maybe a mounted machine...

Great buy in spite of the low cost!
The feature I like most about this scope is that the circle w/dot reticle is visible when the Red/Green illumination is turned off making it still usable if the battery would die out. The scope body is heavy and appears to be very solidly built. Optics looks clear and magnification is good. Eye relief is, as other reviews have stated to be around 2" however on a low recoil .223/9mm this is not an issue. The downside, if you want to call it, is that you can't put lens covers on the front optic. It may be possible with a sunshade on the front and then the cover. A cover could be put on the rear optic but that may hinder the focus function. Bottom line for me is I received more than my monies worth with this scope.

Great for the price point
Put this on an AR15 carbine. Great eye relied and good optic for short range (under 200 yards) shooting and quick target acquisition. It is a little bulky and heavy but it feels durable. It also works great to clear backup flip up sights. Very happy for the price point. The elevation and windage adjustments were backwards from labeling for point of impact adjustments but no big deal once you know that. Sounds like some are and some aren’t. I most likely will be buying another one once I have put this one through more testing. So far I’m completely happy with it!
