Everything works how it should be and the battery’s lasted about a month in it until the sensor stopped working put new battery now it’s good

The concept behind the MIND&ACTION Gun Safe Light is solid, and in a lot of ways the execution is too—just not where it matters most. The light itself is impressively well built. It feels durable in hand, not cheap or flimsy, and the rotatable lens is a smart touch. Being able to direct the beam exactly where you need it inside a safe or cabinet is genuinely useful. Brightness is more than adequate for a confined space, and the motion activation works reliably without being overly sensitive. However, the mounting solution is where things fall apart—literally. The adhesive tape on the back of the magnetic strip is weak. It doesn’t hold up under real use, especially in environments where temperature changes or surface texture come into play. After a short period, the adhesive gave out and the light fell. The only upside to that situation is this: the light survived the fall without issue. That speaks to the build quality. No cracks, no malfunction—it kept working like nothing happened. So you end up with a product that is clearly designed well on the hardware side, but let down by a poor mounting solution. If you plan to use this, I would strongly recommend replacing the adhesive with something more reliable (industrial tape, or a stronger mounting method for metal). It does come with Velcro and screws for wood mounting. In short: Great light. Weak tape. Durable enough to take the hit—but you shouldn’t have to test that in the first place.

I like the motion sensor light but has some design flaws. Has 2 options 30 seconds and 60 seconds. The Velcro is strong but it’s a 2 in strip that covers the battery inserts. So I used the magnet and then heard in fall later in the day because the adhesive was not strong enough. It also covers the battery so I cut it in half and super glued the magnets on both sides of the batteries for it to work and still be able to change the batteries when they die. The other one I was able to use screws to hold it into place
