These dresses run slightly small and are made of cotton. More written below
I have bought this dress in pretty much all colors over the years. I love that they are cotton, and because they are made in China, they run slightly small. I am a medium/large. I always order XX large because I have Fibromyalgia and need loose fitting clothes or there is pain. I absolutely LOVE these dresses. They definitely are cotton, and because of that, they tend to shrink a bit during washings, hence the XX large. They are the most comfortable clothing I own. I live in these dresses. Some have complained the colors aren’t as advertised. I have probably 20 of these dresses and in every color. I never found the colors to be anything but perfect. Even after many washings, every dress holds the color. The other reason I buy so many of these dresses, is because, for the price, there is nothing better on the market in cotton. I get up and wear them all day long and change into another one and sleep in it. Many times, I get up, throw on a pair of leggings, and am out the door. Quick and easy. I wear sweaters that match the dress/legging combo and a cute pair of boots and honestly? I get more compliments even from strangers, than anything I have worn in my life. My favorite is the black and cranberry colored dresses, but I have the green, the purple, the gray, and the white dresses. Warning - the white dresses (one short sleeve, one long sleeve) are DEFINITELY NOT cotton material. I can tell. All the others are cotton. Also, I bought a couple of the flowered dresses and they also are not cotton. I have MS and especially, in spring, summer and fall, I sweat a lot. So, I have already given the non-cotton dresses to the local used clothing store except I kept the white ones. For summer. I don’t know why, but the fit is exactly the same on each dress I buy. They fall just low enough on the neck to be a bit flirty, but still hide the rashes I get from autoimmune diseases especially in spring and summer when my many allergies flair up. They have a flattering slightly high waist fit that even looks wonderful on my 70 year old body. Because they run a bit small in the bosom area, I can get away with wearing cotton sports bras and it looks exactly like I am wearing a regular bra. They have wonderful deep pockets below the waist line for my phone and keys. I like that they hit below the knee to hide those pesky rashes. I would love NOT to wear the leggings, but those rashes and old legs just aren’t flattering. But you can dress these dresses up with different things of your own style. If I get compliments on these dresses at my age, you KNOW they are flattering to the figure! I would definitely recommend these dresses to ANYONE with skin issues or pain issues, or even healthy! If I can make myself feel fun and flirty in these dresses, someone without health problems should be able to wear these dresses in the shorter version, with short sleeves! Or, if you aren’t into the new trendy barely there new styles, these are perfect for you! I originally got them as pajamas because I can’t stand wearing anything on my legs at night but needed something warmer than just a long sleeve t-shirt. They sort of morphed into becoming my all day clothing because they are so comfortable, they are well made, they are all cotton which I have not been able to find in any other dresses as pretty as these under $100!! These dresses, for the style, the comfort, the true to color, well made and cotton, are the BEST clothing I have ever bought. And the price cannot be beat anywhere. I have looked and looked. They hang perfect and even have a swing to them! I cannot speak to the size, but every single dress I have gotten fits the same every time. A bit too big, but because of the superior styling, for some reason, they do not LOOK too big. I am 5’5” tall and weigh 150 pounds. But what is strange? They even fit me when I was 240 pounds three years ago! So, the most versatile, comfortable dress I have ever bought. I just bought the new color, gray/blue. Hopefully, it will be cotton!! I hope these dresses stay around for a long time. But I have so many now, I think I am set. One more thing. Others have said they were a bit see-thru? Not any of the dresses I have bought can be seen through. Including the white ones. Maybe I am just lucky, but these comfortable, stylish, well fitting dresses are pretty much all I wear these days. Try one! Like I said, I have tried hundreds of other dresses, tunics, etc. over the years. But I keep coming back to these dresses all the time. Tried many others, but loose fitting in any other style in cotton I have bought have looked like I am wearing a sack at two to three times the price and the colors have never been as nice as these dresses! I might be old, but I am still vain! 😁

Surprisingly good quality with some shrinkage
I was hesitant to buy, expecting questionable quality, but was pleasantly surprised. Secure stitching, nice detailing at neck. I normally wear an XL, so bought an XL and XXL, and am glad I got the larger dress. Length was perfect at the bottom of the knee (I'm 5'6") and there is ample room in the hips. The top is a tad snug, especially the sleeves, but the fabric has a nice amount of give with the touch of spandex, which also keeps the cotton from wrinkling. The fabric is a nice weight--not bulky but thick enough to feel substantial, and is nice and smooth. Should be cool enough in the summer. Can add a sweater and scarf in the winter. I love that the front placket is sewn closed--no gaps to expose anything. I decided to wash it before wearing as the fabric seems to have a bit of sizing in it. I hand-washed in cold water, and while it bled a tiny bit in the water, it didn't really lose color. Then I machine dried it on delicate and promptly removed it. The fabric looks great--no wrinkles (thanks, spandex!). BUT it did shrink a bit. The sleeves were snug and are now a bit more snug, and the top feels very form fitting. The fabric has enough give in it to be comfortable, but if they made a XXXL, I would probably order that for maximum comfort.

NOTE: Lighter colors are SHEER; having to return. Cute style. Top is tight for the size.
UPDATE: Unfortunately I need to return this striped dress - when going outside it became apparent that the lighter color stripes are more see through than I realized. That can actually be seen in the side view pic I've attached to the review. This may not be an issue with the darker colors. Bummed to return it!! It's super cute and fun. But don't want to deal with the sheer issue. There's a lot I love about this dress that make me want to order more colors - and yet there's some things that give me pause and make me hesitant to order more. I ordered this in Medium, my usual size for dresses and tops. For reference I'm 5'4", 36B Bust, Approx 170#, pear shaped - hips and backside carry my weight. Good for warmer weather. In cooler weather can be worn with tights, long sweater, etc. PROS: - Cute style! Love the buttons down the front. The stripes pattern is whimsical and fun. - Pockets! - Flattering waist line and skirt - Comfy stretch material CONS: - Lighter material is See-Through and Sheer. Had to return for this reason. - Top is tight. I have this in Medium, yet the top fits like a Small. I'm a 36B bust and it's tight! - Clingy fabric, just a bit. Does "hug" my backside, which I'd rather have more camouflaged. However, sizing up won't fix that, I think. More material but still the "cling". I included a pic. - Lighter colors may be sheer - I have this in the stripes and where the colors are lighter it's a bit sheer. - Confusing to size. If I got a L to be looser on top then the skirt may be too much material.

Amazing quality - Amazing price
This dress is amazing and I am so happy that I bought it! First impression: This dress was shipped in a nice thick branded bag with a zip closure and had a nice quality tag that was attached with thick thread instead of a plastic tag hanger that can sometimes leave holes in clothing. Fit: On first inspection I was concerned that it would not fit, but I was pleasantly surprised - it fits like a glove! Perfect! I bought a medium and usually wear small or medium in most things. I would not have been comfortable with a small, so possibly get a slightly bigger size. The only thing that I am not crazy about is the sleeve length. The picture makes it look like the short sleeves hit between the shoulder and the elbow, but this dress hits right up by my shoulder - almost a cap sleeve. But it is still cute and doesn't bug me. Quality: Super soft and stretchy material. I have not washed it yet, but the fabric feels like excellent quality, so I am confident that there will be no problems. I was worried about the buttons, but they are great quality. They look just like wood buttons, but I don't think they are. I will buy another one in a different color soon!

Comfy, cute, flattering- inconsistent in material 😭
I went back and forth on these dresses for awhile, but I am so glad I bit the bullet and tried one out. I am 5'6" 220 lbs size 14 36 E, usually bounce between a large and an XL, most of my weight in my tummy but still have an hourglass figure. This fits perfectly. Not too tight in the bust, great flare, waist lands just right- which I was concerned about since some people have pics of it landing below the bust which babydoll styles makes me look pregnant. It actually is supportive of my bust with no bra! Very soft, comfortable, not see through. I immediately ordered several more in different patterns and colors, perfect for work and just being comfortable but still cute. If there are fit/size issues with ordering multiples I will update. Looks great with a longline bra if you are into vintage shapes. UPDATE: I love these dresses and kept buying more colors and have been very pleased with the short sleeve version. I recently ordered a couple long sleeve versions for winter, and the plain black one is just as great as the short sleeve versions, same great cotton/stretch material. I got a black polkadot one and the material is AWFUL. Looks like spandex, shiny and cheap. I hate it. What a bummer that the consistency isn't there.

So good, I got 8 and made it my uniform
This dress is universally useful, I've paired this with leggings and boots and never have to think about what to wear to work anymore. I work a dirty job, so I have all black dresses, and I've burned holes in a few of them, but the fabric doesn't melt to my skin (yay!) and at like $30 a dress, they're not heartbreaking to replace. The pockets carry everything I need, and then some. Seriously, they fit a big paperback. So no purse! The elastic waist is a little snug at first, and a little high on me, but after some hard work and washes, it fits just right. The length is perfect, falling just at my knees. I love these dresses, they hold up for YEARS. My oldest one is 4 years old, I think? Still black, haven't burned a hole in it yet, and still comfy with great elastic. I've never lost a button, I've never ripped a pocket, I've never frayed a hem, and I crawl around on the floor looking for tiny things I've dropped FREQUENTLY. I've gone up and down in sizes, and these have stayed elastic enough to fit my body through all of my sizes. Love this style, love this dress, get this if you want lasting quality and a great fit!

Sizing and Fabric
I got this dress in the floral patterns and solid colors. My normal size I would get would be XL but because of the reviews I sized up to XXL, I’m glad I did. I didn’t want the bust to be too tight, I also wanted the waist to hit my natural waist, not just below my bust. Plus I wanted the length of the dress to be below my knee. My bust size is 42” and my waist is 37”. It’s a little loose in the waist but I plan on wearing a belt with it, so it doesn’t matter. The cut of this dress is simple and cute. I suggest ordering your usual size If you have a small bust and back or if you want a tighter fit with an empire waist. If you want a slightly looser fit and the dress to be longer on you, size up. As for the fabrics: the floral and solid are different fabrics. The solid colors are more like the soft, stretchy cotton t shirt fabric, medium weight. The floral fabrics are more of a rayon or polyester blend, medium-light weight. More stiff (than the solid cotton one) and still soft with stretch, but not very much cotton, if any. Personally I like the floral fabric better, because to me it makes the dress look nicer and not as casual. But you may like the cotton fabric better. I think these dresses are a good deal for the price and very comfortable.

A Great Little Dress!
This is a very comfortable dress that you can dress up or down. I love that the pockets are in front rather than the side hem, so they don't add to my hip width. It is a cotton/spandex blend, so has stretch to it and is not see through. The only negative is that it looks like it will need to be ironed, which makes it less travel-friendly than some other dresses. I am 5'7" 145, more bottom heavy and with longer legs. I usually wear a .edium but ordered a large based on comments. It fits perfectly for this style of dress (not tight in the chest and plenty of room at the waist and hip) and hits at the bottom of my knee, which is perfect. It is flattering to a pear body shape.
