Cole Hersee 3032 Flasher Connector

I was needing a flasher connector that I could mount into a vintage vehicle to secure and hide the flasher unit. After shopping around I thought that I had found the perfect solution. Not so! I ordered it and after about 2 weeks of waiting it was still not shipped so I cancelled that order. I decided to try again and it took about 2 weeks to receive the unit. Before I mounted the unit I noticed that the electrical connections looked loose so I tried the flasher and I was right, very loose. I made the mistake of mounting the connector anyway, which was easy to mount, but, in order to get the flasher to stay in the unit I had to put a slight twist in the male blades of the flasher to get it to hold into the connector but it was still loose and I figured after some vibration it would certainly be a problem. So, I decided to literally cut my losses and I snipped the wires and pulled the connector out and trashed it. I purchased a much, much cheaper connector that works great, not as easy to mount, but the connection is secure.

I have been renovating the electrical system in a 1952 Dodge Power Wagon. The original emergency flasher socket, which was added, was brittle and broke. This item was a perfect replacement.i
