I've used 6 of these gabion baskets now as retaining structures on top of an old pathway (hence slight unevenness on top, nothing to do with the gabions themselves) and under the pathway over compressed type 1 mot. I've assembled these myself (30 year old woman) using reclaimed Cotswold stone.Good Points:- thick metal- sturdy- very easy to assemble alone- anti bulge mechanisms work well- great priceNeutral points:- if you assemble it alone then lift it to move it the corkscrews will come out 😂 a very minor point but something to be aware of.- the metal loses its shine after a few weeks of being outside. Doesn't bother me but again perhaps worth noting.- Note the 80cm tall ones are harder to fill if you use stone layering, purely as it's difficult to reach the bottom with a bent stance. Obviously not impossible, but I did get a lot of scrapes!Overall I'd recommend these and have Qty 4 more in my basket to finish my garden landscaping project! Hope this was useful.

I have quite a few of these they are really great to add impact quickly to anz garden space. Easy to put together and can be filled with many different things.

Fiddly to put together.We fill the middle with building blocks, as to save money and for gabbion to keep shape ( only had to place pebbles on the outer sides).Not as easy as I first thought, however well worth it, as the finish item is well worth it.

These are great quality gabions at a very good price. They were super easy to assemble. Getting a level base is very important. I used them to retain a stable bank of compacted soil about a metre high, where there main risk was erosion not collapse. Working a treat and looks great from the front. Excellent quality product. Great seller comms when I messaged to check some details. Also arrived on the first day of estimated delivery window. Fab!

These are strong well made gabion baskets. I've used more 'industrial' ones in the past but these ones have nice look to them and hold their shape well.

Comes with spirals and very easy to put together, recommended

Lovely addition to the garden have used it as extra seating. Only needed 2 but bought 5.
